Vintage Roms 1908-Present Date Project!!!! NHL95

Hello NHL95 Fanatics!!!

Im bring you a database of games. A long project but an important one for the history of the NHL, and preNHL leagues as well. Cause that is where the roots lie, in the NHA, ECHA, MPHL, PCHA, WPHL, WHA, IIPHL, and so on.

Ive created the beginning of this projected and wanted to share with everyone with time specific rosters, ratings, teams, arenas, rinks, logos, and much more.

- The roms will span the history of hockey in North America from 1908-09 to present date.

- Teams specific to each season and their actual schedules of that season (side note, when playing season mode, please allow about 10 seconds to allow the mode to start)

- Logos, Arenas, Player Cards, Jerseys and even players with no helmets including the goalies.

A huge thanks goes out to a few members @von Ozbourne @kingraph and others.

Great stuff, loving all the graphical changes and the mini info pack replacing the credits.

I'm not big on '95 but these will definitely get me playing it more often!

Well with the wife away all weekend and into next week Ill get more completed. The schedules is trickiest thing. But they are date accurate.

Sorry man. So much has happened in the last few months a divorce refinance replacing a car and a passing of a parent.

But first, completely from right out of the blue I heard from Ultramagnus last night that he is back?

 

Well my question for him just to be sure, is this originally planned I'd say "ambitious"  full Vintage Rom project 1908-present day  for NHL95 ever going to see a Return or Not?

I Have a basic Question about this Vintage Rom project?  What is the expected timeline of when any possible first uploaded downloads of seasons will start to appear? Just curious on a potential ETA? Also will there ever actually be for example a 1999 season released with this project?

Is it possible  if you do start with year 1914 as you planned  next,  that maybe you could do 2025 next also along with 1914? Me and Octopolus seem to be interested most in also a 2025 Rom and perhaps the 2020-2025 season Roms first. I can be patient I think, except unless it's perhaps going to take like 2 years or more or something to go from 1914-2025 for example! I'd be more satisfied with 2020-2026 seasons done mostly  first, and then 1914 to 2019 can be followed? Just a suggestion but you can  disregard my idea if you wish!  I look forward to the Nhl26 Rom and you can proceed as you wish, more than with my two cents. Just adding my own personal  opinion to clarify that obviously and apparently im alot more interested in more later NHL seasons than the earlier days. From early 1970s-present day mostly. Its just my preference and opinion. 

I can be patient only assuming the years I care most about in the series are not going to take like say a full 2 to 3 years or something to complete. But If its more like say 6 months to a full year or whatever, I think I can be plenty patient about it then and that would  not be anything to really be complaining about. But if its like a full 2-3  years from now to be overly patient, than No. 😁

I can likely easily  handle up to even a year or so for your project to be completed. But if abit longer than a year or more if you do start with 1914 than No it will feel like a long while. 😁

Do as you most prefer, but Apparently I must have seen a past  quote long  before where you said back to someone on here on August 10th around 12:07 you were doing "1909-2023 but would be going in "Reverse". By seeing that it may explain to why I'm so fussy. 😀  (That quote was seen from another  thread on this forum actually though that you posted in). I had to go look to find it again to make sure as I remembered it from awhile back. 

It's all  your call on how to go about the  project as its yours. I must be interested only mainly in the 1970-2026 seasons  and  I must have interpreted and had planned on afrer seeing that quote for a reverse, as in meaning 2025-1909 I guess. The only question is  just a matter of either will a wait be like just 6 months, just up to a year, or 2,3 or more and that's all I'm being fussy about. Just only wondering how long to expect and that's all I'm really worried about. Otherwise everything is Fine. 😀 

i just would like to know a projected  timeframe of how long tilll it would most likely get to the more Modern Era NHL seasons and what to expect for a time of release of that Era (say primarily 1989-2025 years)? I also seem  interested  specifically besides the 2026 Rom, also was eager to see the 2025 season one. 

All I am asking right now to know particularly more so is the projected  timeframe you think can be expected  if you do actually decide to go forwards instead of in reverse,  if you start with 1914 next?

That's my main primary question about this project.

Ultramagnus, has this Vintage Roms project been Cancelled, put on the Backburner, or are you still working hard on it? Also is Nhl26 still gonna ever be released? Me, as well as Octopolus and others are interested and would like any updates and some basic info on the status of this Rom project?
