SNES NHL 25 ROM

After working on it the past few weeks/months I'm finally releasing an NHL 25 ROM (which is an updated version of my previous NHL 24 ROM).

Some notes about the ROM:

• 28-team ROM replacing Campbell and Wales All Star teams with Nashville Predators and Vegas Golden Knights
• Quebec becomes Colorado while Hartford becomes Carolina
• Arizona(Utah), Columbus, Minnesota, and Seattle are all excluded as they were further down the standings. I hope to rotate the two All Star teams with the best of this bunch(including NSH/VGK)
• Jerseys have been updated to match their current home/away colors
• Rosters are current through the 11/8/24. I may have missed some add/drops but will look again as the season goes on
• Advantages for Home/Away/PP/PK/Offense/Defense have been set up based on each team's 23-24 performance
• Player portrait tool was run so everyone should have stock images
• Line 1/Best were set as close to real life top lines as I could get. Other lines are next best based on overall.
• I've set 1-minute penalties
• Defense Control is enabled by default
• No intro hack applied to skip the long intro screens
• I've attached a CSV containing the rosters as well as team rankings

Thanks to @McMarkis for his various ROM hacks(1min penalties, no intro hack, etc.) as always.

fixed issue for TOR with Nylander appearing twice on Best Line

Also, would you be willing to make overtime 20 minutes?

Here you go. First one is 1-min penalties but 20-min OT. Second contains 2-min penalties and 20-min OT. Enjoy!

Thanks for this. Played nhl 94 as a kid, then again in my 20s with friends. We enjoyed your rom a few weeks ago and plan to play this game more often, using your roster update.

Yo, just a heads up — there are two Nylanders. A friend noticed we were only playing with four unique players instead of five because of the duplicate Nylanders.  Can't confirm that, but I can confirm there are two Nylanders when editing the lines.

Thanks for the kind words and the heads-up. I've added version 2 to the original post. You should also be able to change one of them to Auston Matthews in the Edit Lines screen manually if you didn't want to download the new version. The Trade Deadline ROM (post right above yours) has this fixed as well.

Not sure yet. I've been really busy with work and home life lately. If I do one it'll probably another November release or something when life slows down a bit. It's a lot of work each year.

@Stefan You've convinced me to do an NHL 26 ROM. I started working on it yesterday. It will take some time. Hopefully I can finish and release it within the next few weeks.

Based on last year's standings I'm removing NSH (ASE) and adding MIN for this year's ROM. CBJ, SEA, and UTA also miss the cut again.
