What’s the EASIEST way to make NHL94 Difficult?

Ive downloaded many different ROMs on here (which are ALL phenomenal) but how do I make its even MORE difficult? When I mean difficult, I mean I want majority of my games challenging against the computer. I saw this post (picture below) but the user told me to go straight to the source of the ROM. I did that & couldn’t get a definite clean cut answer so they told me to post directly on the forum to ask the NHL94 universe. I know how to use NOSE & EARE editors. I’m a Chicago Blackhawks fan so I rarely use any other team. Is there a way to just edit my team or do I have to “juice” everyone else up? I just love this game but want to make playing the computer a lot more challenging. Thanks.

Have you tried playing with your goalie pulled the whole game? I find that to be hard.

@smozoma had some good recommendations.  I'd suggest those as well.  I'll add the following food for thought...
 

Create a larger distribution spread for the team ratings.  If you play the original, you know that if you are either All-Star team, which I believe have team OVR rating of 90, and you play a team like Ottawa, that has around a 50 OVR, you will dominate them.  If you are playing as Ottawa, you know that playing against either AST will be a big challenge.  So, tinkering with team overall rankings can help with separating the contenders from the pretenders.  I usually go between 60-80 but in your case, I'd recommend spreading between 50-90.

Perhaps, lowering (via NOSE or import through the Roster Editing Tool) each player's shot and pass accuracy, by one, could help.  Using your fav team as an example, outside of Connor Bedard, the Blackhawks, unfortunately, don't have much in the way of scoring/offensive help.  So lowering it for all players, not just the Hawks, could help with creating a more challenging game.  Yes, it also impacts the other teams, as well, but as the Hawks are near the bottom of the league in offense, it would hurt them more.
