addisonbr
It looks like chances are that you can stick a fork in JR as well.http://www.thefourthperiod.com/news/sjs090804.html Nooooo! Ah well. I like this stat from ESPN: "The nine-time All-Star has scored 1,216 points, third-most among American-born players in NHL history." Being third-highest scorer among American-born players is sort of like being the third tallest midget in the circus. He's barely in the top 40 overall. I say this with nothing but love for my American brothers and sisters.

So many of the top 40 scorers were from before there were many non-Canadians in the league.

angryjay93
I dont think Ed Belfour will be playing anywhere this season. http://www.thehockeynews.com/articles/2745...consultant.html Shanahan is going to give it another go though. http://www.thehockeynews.com/articles/2744...sey-Devils.html

angryjay93
I also searched on Geoff Sanderson, USA Today reported that he turned down training camp offers for last season from the Blackhawks and a few other teams, im too lazy to go fetch the link, but if hes turning down offers and theres zero buzz for him this year, then i think its safe to say hes done. Sillinger could be the next to go http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=288877 Wasn't calling out Halifax or anything...Just meant I usually don't catch retired players. smozoma
I heard that phillipe boucher is retiring on TSN... was he in 94? I tried looking him up earlier, and I don't think he was in it... He only played 18 games in 93 for Buffalo, so I think he was left out (it was his rookie season). Something else I noticed while looking him up... Doug Bodger was the man! I can't believe he's only rated 53 in NHL94. The guy scored 528 points in 1071 games in his career. In the two seasons leading up to NHL94, he scored 100 points in 154 games. He was 5th in team scoring the year NHL94 is based on (the 4 guys ahead of him? Just some chumps named Lafontaine, Mogilny, Hawerchuk, and Andreychuk).

smozoma
The same guy who told me Bouwmeester had already signed when the Flames acquired his rights told me the Flames are going to invite him to their training camp. And they're going to try and get him to play on their minor-league AHL affiliate in Abbotsford.I just can't see the guy in the NHL with any other team than the Flames. halifax
Zarley Zalapski and Sean Hill were not on the swiss rosters for any of the teams so I moved them to 'retired' with an asterisk. I also put matvichuk there as well...since he hasn't played in two seasons.
