What kind of ratings would you give Tony Hand in the NHL games of the 90s ?

Someone I hope can help answer for you  that question. I have No idea at all but thanks for bringing to my attention a player I never knew before until I saw this post and then looked him up.  Tony Hand was a Scottish born player who was first drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in 1986. Looks like he never was much in the NHL though  am I correct?

I remember coming across WHL Seattle Totems' legend Guyle Fielder's wiki page that mentioned that "He is the fourth-leading scorer in professional ice hockey history, behind Wayne Gretzky, Jaromír Jágr, and Gordie Howe" and thinking that what about Tony Hand? He outscored them all. An editor has since amended that line to specify "North American" so the recognition of centric-thinking is nice.

A few years ago I did make an IIHF mod based on the 1994 World Championships and Tony was on Great Britain's team that year.

Unfortunately his stats didn't line up so well when compared to the "NHL94 accurate" rating calculations, but then even the best teams only had a few players rated higher than a 60 overall. I think Joe Sakic and Luc Robitaille might be the highest rated players in this game at an 84,

which is why I switched to a more contained system for the "remaster" where if the highest scorers in the tournament are given around a 95 score and everyone else is graded on a sliding scale, Tony's performance with an admittedly very weak Great Britain side that year came in looking a bit more respectable.

Thankyou Celislanders . Since I have not checked that Rom yet (I downloaded it in the past) If really true its too bad Great Britain was not in the Genesis version of that mod. For me I have a very hard time when playing the SNES version of any Nhl94 mod or even the original. I really prefer and love all the Sega  Genesis version games (and the majority of the mods) on this site of NHL though.

Great Britain and player Tony Hand is in fact in one of Von Ozbournes Rom's for the Sega Genesis. Look instead  for his  IIHF94 CE F2 Rom on this forum. It's a championship edition of his Nhl94 rom.

Tony Hand was a 78 overall rating behind only one other player rated higher in the rom.. He was a second line center position for Great Britain in the Rom and jersey number 9.

Thanks @RT1977 yes i never had a snes as a kid so never played any of them really until I tried it on a handheld emulator i got but just prefer the Genesis version it just runs smoother. Will have a search for this now thanks will download 😀
