Mod Request: 2026 Olympic Hockey made from NHL 95

nhl 95 is actually my new favorite nhl game. it used to be nhl 96/97 but after a lot of playing lately i do prefer nhl 95 now.

i know there is already an olympic hockey rom made from nhl 94 but like i said, i personally prefer nhl 95, so if someone have the skill, time and offcource the will to create a rom with as many playable countries as possible in an olympic 2026 game that would be so cool and much appreciated by me 🤩

Not to get your hopes up, but I have been investigating this. Possibly using the Swedish port as a base because it is already reduced to 12 teams and has the playoffs configured to just the top eight qualifiers in a best-of-three semi, best-of-five final format.

I already have the player stats so it saves a lot of effort by recycling those. The artwork would need a little bit more thoughtfulness to implement, but that can be figured out as well. 

The 34-Team ROM is a bit easier to navigate graphics-wise thanks to how it was modded, but there are some things I want to test out as far as season mode and restricting the number of selectable teams. Either way, it's going to take a little while before I even figure out if it can be done the way I'd want.

I don't know what you mean with the Swedish port, elitserien 95?, but it makes me very happy to hear that you will take a look at this 😃👍👍

It would be great to see a Milano Cortina Olympic Rom for Nhl95!

I also noticed today you just released a Rom of the Nhl26 season based on Nhl95.
