WOW!  Impressive collection!!!  You sir, win!

I, too, have the blue Charlestown Chiefs jersey, with the FL patch.  I sometimes wear it to Ranger games when I don't wear Rangers stuff.  I often get lines from the movie yelled to me from folks passing by.  It's pretty cool/funny!  If I wear it outside of a game, most folks have no idea what it represents.  Sad, it is a great movie that you don't have to be a hockey fan to enjoy.

Thanks!  I can quote that movie and Mystery, Alaska and a fair amount of Goon all day.  I really wish I could get a Reverse Retro Wild jersey, and I really hope the team just changes to those colors permanently.  Even though I own a lot of Wild jerseys, the holiday colors are really tiresome.  I even wrote about it here on my blog.

I agree, love the colors.  Always did.  But, they don't look good on the Wild logo.  Maybe it is a pre-conditioned thing.  I actually think that the Wild logo is one of the cooler ones as it has some easter egg references to the state of Minnesota within it.  So, if they use the NS colors, I do think they need a new logo as well.  Who knows, with Calgary getting pressure and finally returing to the classic 80s color scheme, maybe Minnesota will do the same?  Granted, the NS colors and logo are associated with Dallas and their history.  However, I thought I read that they don't own the branding as the NHL does.  And, it's not as if folks in Minnesoat wanted their team to move to Dallas.  So, who knows...

No, we sure as hell didn't want that to happen.  I think the logo looks fine in North Stars colors.  The 1980's Calgary Flames jerseys were awesome, had a guy from my hometown win the Stanley Cup with them in 1989.

There certainly is a bit of conflict between the older fans like me who were old enough to have followed and cheered for the North Stars and the younger fans that have no connection to the North Stars.  They don't want to see the team abandon the holiday colors, but the older fans would abandon them in a second and not think twice about it.  There are plenty of precedents of teams changing colors / logos.  I'm not afraid of change.  I think the holiday colors are forgettable.
