NHL 94 "Batters up" Goal

Me and Dmac were messing around trying to flick the puck up in the air, catch it, and pass-shot it into the net while it was airborne, hence "batters up". While there maybe amazing shots and moves, we didn't manage to put too many past the goalies, or even on the net most times, but this is one of the results. Flipped up, caught, and off the post.

kind of looks like it might have landed, but, yeah, fun stuff.

trudatman: It has to hit the ice once before you can hit it unfortunately, so no flip in air then smacked into net before it even hits the ground unfortunately. But the puck was barely off the ice in that video, so to compensate I decided to give it another go:

This one is MUCH better. Reminiscent of Ovechkin's attempts during the breakway challenge at the all star game .

I made a topic for Scribe about how to do the flip pass about a year ago now.

The further away you are from the blue line the harder it is to control the trajectory; I've actually scored with this once in a 2on2 match - I'm not ballsy enough to try it 5on5 with all the traffic.
