Anyone have any experience with the genesis Retrobox? Or has anyone ordered from retrousb.com?

Looks pretty cool, but not sure that i'd want to risk purchasing from such a ghetto looking website. I'm just wondering if this is legit. You'd figure this guy would have an ebay store if he was serious.

(probably should move this post to "General")

I ordered some 6 PS2 controllers and 5 pcs Super Joybox 5 (or similar name), an adapter that you can attatch 4 PS2 controllers to. Though on 3 of the adapters that I tested (sold the other two right away) only 3 controller ports were working. Really odd, tried different drivers, computers, operative systems, nothing helped. Other than that they work really well! I ordered this from liksang. Was pretty cheap at first, but when I also on top of that got a f**king tax bill with an additional 20% of the price I got really pissed off.

I also have an EMS2 adapter, purchased from levelsix.com. I recall there were some problems with that, haven't used it in a couple of years so I don't remember what it was... Oh yeah, wait a minute, I think I had to unplug and replug it after reboot (most of the time). That kinda sucked.

The super smartjoy (snes -> usb adapter) is awesome. I love it.

The 3rd party snes controllers are complete garbage. The day after I got it, I went to a shop around here and bought an actual snes controller. They are light and flimsy and weigh nothing.

Those wireless snes controllers look awesome, aside from the fact that i think id have a hard time adjusting to the shape of the joystick.

lik-sang is awesome, they have a lot of cool retro stuff

Definatley a great post by shakazuzu ! I would also personally recommend the N64 controller adapter, the "Adaptoid", which is what I am using - however, they are no longer being produced, so you may have difficulty tracking one down.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, the corded XBOX360 controllers are compatible with PC. Been meaning to try one.

I bought the xbox 360 controller only to return due to the fact I could not use the Digital D-Pad on it. If you are fine using the analog sticks this controller does work. (There is no "Mode" button to turn off the analog sticks)

It's a shame since this controller feels rock solid and has a really nice d-pad.

I picked one up myself and have been using it ever since. A nice controller I think with just an assload of buttons and great analog sticks. I've got no complaints with mine and they can be had for under $30 on ebay so not a bad deal at all ;)

Of course they are, the xbox and xbox360's controllers are both USB (though the xbox uses a different connector, but its still usb)

f**k! looks like lik-sang is out of business.. f**kin sony.. anyone know any other decent similiar sites?

Sorry, no. But this is the last straw for me. After the DRM garbage last year, I was iffy about buying sony. Now I absolutely refuse to buy a Sony branded product. I found out about lik-sang last week, and I'm REALLY pissed off about it.
