How faceoffs can lose you a cup

Recommended Posts

First set is the game score and winner, second set is faceoffs and winner

GM1 9-3 ATL (15-5 PIT)

GM2 5-3 PIT (10-7 PIT)

GM3 6-5 ATL (14-9 PIT)

GM4 5-3 PIT (11-6 PIT)

GM5 4-2 ATL (11-7 PIT)

GM6 6-5 PIT OT (15-6 PIT)- OT WINNER RIGHT OFF FACEOFF 8 SECONDS IN---this carried right over to the next game and the series was over

GM7 10-2 PIT (15-6 PIT) 7-0 IN FIRST 3MINS OF FIRST PERIOD ALL GOALS OFF FACEOFF WINS, STARTED 8-0 ON FACEOFFS :|

46-91 33.6% ATL

28.6% LAST 2 GAMES ATL

Atl the WORST team on faceoffs in any league during reg season i think around 41-42%, got completely exposed in this series.

Faceoff school in the offseason!!

So for anybody who says faceoffs are completely random, just look at this series.
