The GDL system works fine, but I'm interested in coming up with something more adaptive, that moves the draft along faster if it's going smoothly (but maybe that expectation is a bit naive ). I'm thinking.. for the first 3 rounds, something like: round 1: 24 hours since the guy ahead of you picked or was skipped. round 2: 24 hours since the guy 2 ahead of you picked or was skipped. round 3: 24 hours since the guy 3 ahead of you picked or was skipped. the round 1 policy may be a bit too slow.. later rounds would just have gdl-style hour/halfhour deadlines.
