thegr8199
this is what happens when you have a screwed up GM Sundin anyone?
shaftman
There reasoning for not giving the goalie a C, and letting him argue refs is stupid. They say some goalie in the past would argue a s**t load and waste time and give his team an unofficial time out. so what? your saying a forward cant curse off a ref and waste time? how long does it take a goalie to skate to his crease...a whole 5 seconds? stupid rule. If the faceoff is at the other end of the rink and luongo decides he wants to go all the way down there to talk to the ref...then yes..it is wasting time. Point taken. However, He should still get to wear a C.
halifax
Point taken. However, He should still get to wear a C. considering that they have three guys wearing the A and no one wearing the C...I agree he should have the C on his jersey...the rules are still in place prohibiting him to talk to refs anyways. hokkeefan
its all motivational for the team since luongo is the best player on team and of course hes not going to go down and talk to the refs ..mitchell and ohlund will, but luongo will lead by example and win even more games with him as team captain ....jealous bums you easterners are
Mr_One_Timer
I'll sound like a newb (and I am in more ways than one), but wasn't Patrick Roy a captain back when he was playing with the Canadiens? You can correct me if I'm wrong in this one.
