Ramming the goalie. I did this very often in snes NHL97 when i got it back in the days.

It is funny how the right handed goalies suck so much in this game. I was playing as St. louis with Grant Fuhr as the goalie and tried to pass backwards to the defender but it missed and went to goal. Grant Fuhr let in 10 goals in that game against the AI... but I still managed to win the game with 15 goals.

It doesn't really matter if its up or down. But as a kid when I got NHL97 on my SNES I couldn't score when I was attacking up.
