NHL97 V. 2 changed player ratings. instead of stars of East and West added teams of Russia and Sweden. In the hidden menu, instead of EA Sports and Renegades teams, the Czech and Finnish national teams are added. Edited rosters teams Canada USA and Europe. There was a problem when editing the ice of the national teams of Russia, Finland and the Czech Republic. Preferably the ice teams to make all teams EA Sports. Added star player Todd Bertuzzi to the new York islanders, who played 76 games in the 1995-96 season. NHL_97_v.2_[!].bin

i have started to update all the team rosters on the NHL 2012(97) Version 2.0 - Trade Deadline Edition, released by Sabre Dance and updated by TheTome. now im reaching out for some help to update and change team names, logos, startscreen, backrounds etc to be able to make this a great new updated NHL 97 with rosters for the upcoming 2026-2027 season! all 32 nhl teams are already in it except for seattle and vegas so i need help adding them as well. im especially reaching out to, TheTome, Sabre Dance smozoma and BuffaloCG for your help with this project but anyone with knowledge of this is very welcome to reach out and talk to me here or in pm 😃 i really hope we can do thi…

I have completed my NHL 97 update! I relocated Hartford, updated rosters, uniforms, center ice logos and team select logos for all teams but the best part...SEASON MODE with no Two line pass! If you are interested, pm me. Thank you to Slapshot67 for his patience and tutelage!

When creating mods for games of the NHL94-98 series, we usually use the results of the NHL 1998-99 season for the NHL 2000 game, for example. This game was a bit let down. It was nearly impossible to defend certain types of players and a specific move. There was an absurd type of goal that you could score with always, I once scored 24 goals with Probert on all-star vs my friend who was a very competitive player as well. Yes, you just could not take those tanks down when doing a wobbly movement, talk about Blitz^n+1. Just a stupid game, but the intro & menu were ok in this one as well. Did anyone like this function? I played a game today with the Flyers and I finished a 5 minute period game with 95 checks! There is something that I don't like about getting the puck at your own net and plowing your way to the opposition's goal while making five body checks in the process. Lindros probably had 50 checks independently. Just a dumb feature, your thoughts?...

I recently purchased NHL 97 for Sega . I was wondering if anyone knew why when you start a new season of game play and save it . Once you shut off game system is erase the current season?

Was the weight bug unique to GENS: NHL '94? or Did the weight bug plague the entire GENS series of this era?

Is there a way to instigate a fight in this game or does it just happen out of nowhere? I have played about 6 or 7 games with 20 min periods this week and havent had one fight

Both '97 and '98 are pretty good games by itself, even as they're the same game. But there's always been an issue I feel it should be addressed. Almost all of the goalies (With the exception of Patrick Roy and Guy Herbert) have their glove hands switched from their natural ones to the opposite one and it's a bit unsettling, in particular since guys like Fuhr and Puppa are right-handed yet they carry their sticks with that hand. How do we fix this problem? Some guy at EA must have been high as s**t when he set them up.

Ok, first of all, if this violates rules, just remove the thread. So I'm trying to find some place to buy NHL '97 for PC. Since I'm in Finland, I would prefer to either buy just the CD (in like papersleeve + bubble wrap envelopment) or then to make a deal that you sell me an image of original CD and you destroy any copy you have. Totally legal, as far as I know. I could pay with PayPal. The reason I don't use for example Ebay for this is that the mailing costs would raise to be at least triple the price of the game itself. If this kind of dealing here is not allowed, please point me where I could ask about this. PM me if you could help me.

Ok, so I was playing a version of NHL 97 in which I edited rosters of... I'm not sure if this bug had anything to do with that or not, but I was playing a season on it, on one of the games I played, one of my Defensemen got a double minor penalty. A while after that I ended up getting an interference penalty and then another double minor. Well, after the interference penalty ended and the one guy came out of the box, I noticed something odd... The following face off I was back down to three men. When the second double minor finished I realized the Defenseman that got the first double minor was stuck in the box... For the rest of the game. I have been playing a lot of NHL 97 lately and noticed that once in awhile goals can be scored through the back of the net, lol. It's just great to see the goalie bang his stick in frustration as I score physically impossible goals through the back of the goal net.
