Officially claiming Hartford, if that's cool.

I played Statto in a test game through direct connect TCP.....connection was fine....nice guy too. I think as long as he can host a game somehow.....hes good to go.
I just now got hamachi working but couldn't log into the server because it was full...need to try to host a game, but I'm 95% of the way there
EDIT: just read post that the group was full... joined the other league... currently trying to figure out port forwarding from the shell.
Thanks all!

Sup.
Registration is still open.
I'd like to see a full 28 teams participating from day one, so tell yer friends and get them on-board.
Registration will remain open until two weeks before the first stage deadline - so even if you don't want to do it now and see how much fun we're having, you can join us a little later down the road.
The first stage will end on Friday, May 2nd.
I would love to be the Whalers if not too late - I mean, heck, Brass Bonanza plays about 10 times a game
My problem is that I use Linux. I hunted down a copy of 1.42 all night and have zbattle but am not 100% sure how to go about playing on the internet as I've never done it... so if you could put me down tentatively, that would be great. If you want to message me through the boards to help me get playing I'd be quite happy as I'm not going to put my AIM on until I know I can get this working (sorry).
Thanks!

My "Internet" was greyed out too because the version I was using was too new. If you're using a version greater than 1.42, then netplay isn't supported anymore. Check the version, you can download it from SourceForge.
If he's a Ubuntu Linux man, you HAVE to be using Feisty and make sure to uncheck zsnes every time your computer gets new updates, else it will upgrade to 1.51 or w/e for you, though that's probably not the case.
