Updated, lets try to get some more of these games in guys!

I updated the standings and games played to hopefully breathe some life back into this league. So far 44 out of 132 games have been played which only accounts for 33% of the games (and this is supposed to only be the first half of the season). So lets try to pick it up guys.
theval99 and nhltrippin have yet to play any games... there's no real replacements for these guys so they'll stay in the league for now but hopefully they find the time to get a controller back in their hands soon or we'll have to drop to a 10 team league.

Ya this league has been pretty slack lately... lets try to start getting more games in guys! Some of the guys have yet to play any games... I'm disappointed with the supposedly "committed players" who have been non existant so far.

It's a bit of a surprise to me, but it might be a good thing - only you, me, sarcdoc and tickenest are really into both sides of the game, so I don't mind if houli wants to isolate himself to GENS.
he's not done with SNES Draft is he?

Yes I agree, Metz is "Capitalizing" the Classic League and what was nice about the two leagues were the differences. I think Metz should put this up for a vote amongst the legacy owners before he up and changes this.
I also agree... smaller leagues are much easier to run and play in, but it does cut away from the "classic" ideas. smoz is right, a 20+ team league is nice for classic.
I also had an idea for the team selection... why not use coaches performance from last season? the teams that finished at the bottom should be given first choice in teams for this season with teams which finished better last season not getting to choose their team until later... might even out the playing field a bit? new coaches could be thrown into the beginning i guess, just like expansion teams get first pick in drafts.
