    If i bet on more games, although the pot would be bigger, my chances of winning decrease...ill just stick with bets i made on your opening matches with each team and since washington is a true thing i only need two games right....the take is 140 bucks (remember I'll split the winnings with ya)

    Deer I was talking to Terry and he said he won't play you because of what you did Saturday night... or rather what you TRIED to do Saturday night.

    It seems like a few guys have had troubles getting opponents to confirm/log a game and I thought it'd make sense to try and collect all those cases in one place. Please post any of these such cases below and make sure to include the game number in your schedule, opponent and, yes, the score ;).

    He quit before we started our 4th game and I haven't heard from him since.

    Who did you play? Hartford? Thats KGMAN in Gens. Yes he's the master of cheese and crap goals. I havent figured out how to stop him yet, but then again noone else has either.

    He's talkin about Schwartzy in SNES A. You really have to be able to deal with those kind of goals. If you're good at defending the cuts and cheese goals then it's a waste of your opponents time to even try... usually they end up turning the puck over to you. I still do cuts and such when the opportunity presents itself, but heck... I'm gonna score however the hell I can just like my opponent is trying to do. But nothing feels as good as a 2 or 3 way 1-timer or a retarded deke.

    I'd be able to get all 40+ games in as well. My biggest issue with getting games now is that whenever I see someone on, no one answers me. Plus, I know I can keep up with at least three of the players in the 'A' league. I've played them before, and heck, I even beat one of them a couple times. And he was the spring season's runner up. :D Ain't that right Terry?

    What time are you usually online dude? I think I've only seen you once in the past month or two.

  10. Pittsburgh (SNES A) is back on the rise

    After a very tough slump midway through his season that threatened to sink his record down to around the .500 mark (unacceptable for a player of such skill!), it looks as though the94kid is firing on all cylinders again. Yes, a lot of his games lately have been against opponents that are just starting out, but he's stringing a lot of wins together, scoring a ton of goals, and moving up the standings.

    I'd write about more SNES A players and their progress but so few are playing their games.

    Congrats however to the new guys on the scene that are playing their games.

    Yep... definately on the rise, and all I had to do was tickle his balls a little bit!

  18. SNES A- Who wants to play me TONIGHT?

    Seems as though randomly going on AIM/MSN to try and find a game isn't working........... only guys I can ever find are guys I've already played my games against (the Fentys and Rudys of the world). Happening upon half of the guys in this league by chance on AIM is like winning the lottery.

    Also seems as though making posts in the "Schedule a Game" forum asking for specific guys to schedule a game for me doesn't work; nobody has responded all season, guess these guys don't use the forums.

    So I'll just issue a general challenge to anyone in the SNES A League who I still have remaining games against: Who wants to play tonight? It's been almost two weeks since I've logged a league game (have played two against Blazer in the meantime but he has yet to log them, which is quite frustrating) and I want to get things going again.

    I'll be at a junior hockey game in the early evening but should be home at around 9:00 EST. Anyone who wants to play me from then on, respond away here.

  21. snes and sega-checking ips and replacing van and chi in B side

    just wondering what people would think of hardcore guys in playing both leagues but starting in B -league (sega to snes or opposite).............also i think the IPs should be checked so people arent trying to have multiple teams in any division using different names..................and yes i think if you move up to A side you should be replaced right away even though you could play both schedules no problem, just to be fair :)

    I'm one of the new guys that Mat recruited for the SNES B League.
