What is the risk of Hamachi? This is something I've never heard of before.

Ok I will check out the Forum. I had an employee once put hamachi on our server and did some illegal activity seeing he had free roam to the computer. So that is my only concern. I can try to set up an old computer with nothing on it and use that. Plus I probably shouldn't be playing at work anyways but it would be the only way in life I would be getting paid to play hockey =)
There was a thread discussing potential Hamachi issues, but as far as I know, there haven't been any problems using Hamachi. If you're really nervous about having a P2P connection, you can always play via server (client), where you and your opponent connect to a server and play there. Also used frequently.

Hi my name is Brent. I am new in a way seeing i only made my first forum post today after being a member since 2009. I been wanting to play but not sure about the time and all.
Do you guys use an old computer that has nothing on it? I have used Hamachi before and it really leaves you at risk. Just wondering how you guys handle it.

Do you guys use a stripped down old PC to play? With no info on it?
I actually dusted off my Genesis and been playing 94 on that. I also just bought on ebay the 95 version for genesis for 3 bucks shipped.

I have a microsoft sidewinder that seems to work pretty decent.
I did everything but the Hamachi thing. I have a few old p4 computers that would work well for this. I just have to set it up. It is just that damn MW3 that keeps calling my name.
