On snes it will bring your best line out or refesh them If you use it before the players start the face off, like.. the screen before.. but not right at the faceoff even if its before the whistle. On GENS I heard it will heal an injured player (game FAQ's) & I do it to counter the deers timeouts (pshycological factor)

Yip.. they only slow things down & unfairly penalize people & piss em off.. nothing worse than getting a penalty undeservedly, especially when your a goal down. As far as I can see theres no way to exploit it much.. flying into the keeper doesnt do much, & all of the time you get e penalty you dont even mean to do, or do you benefit from.
