  1. Yea, great work. It just takes a couple of handfulls of games to get acclimitised to our standard of play. You watch.. you learn.. you watch more.. you learn more! And if ya dont keep watchin ya dont keep.. bahhh forget it! Well.. you get the point!

  2. go to C: then programe files then Zbattle then make sure you select 'view all file types' from the drop-down bar, now you can see the.ini file. IT proly not this though but might be.. sometimes a dodgy router makes u not be able to connect to Zbattle let alone get into a game room. Make sure your entering your LAN IP when you forward ports & not your normal IP from whatismyip.com open ZSNES & go to netplay and look were it says your I.P.. forward ports to this!

  3. --Router-- If you are using a router (your compter is connected to a network of computers through a router) you need to access its configuration page (this is usually done by typing http://192.168.0.1 in your browser & the default password is admin leave username blank). In the port forwarding section of the router configuration page, you need to forward UDP port 7845 (for ZSNES) and TCP port 4000 (for zbattle.net downloading) to your LAN IP, Opwn ZSNES & go to netplay to see your LAN IP. If your unsure how to forward ports http://portforward.com has guides for all routers & they even have a Zbattle specefic guide for most routers! http://portforward.com/english/application...battleindex.htm Or google your model of router with the words " how to port forwards for "_your router__" If its an apartment block/university/school with a LAN get in touch with the network administrator & do some lying/begging. Tip-- Say you trade shares through a special programme for income & demand they forward them! They can't refuse!

--Firewall-- Leave your firewall on & when you start zbattle, a 'firewall window prompt' should come up & let you allow ZSNES to run. Be carefull, it might come up behind the ZSNES screen while you try to connect, but it should stay open when you close ZSNES down, after failing to connect, or interupt the ZSNES screen while your connecting to look for a prompt from your firewall to allow ZSNES. If you dont see that window prompt go into the firewall software, then go to the firewalls options & look for a block/exceptions list, you can usally allow ZSNES & Zbattle from here, you can even forward ports on firewalls too but only try that as a last resort. Its UDP port 7845 (for ZSNES), outgoing TCP port 4398 (to connect to the zbattle.net server), and incoming TCP port 4000 (for zbattle.net downloading) Some firewalls like NVIDIA have an application allow feature & you direct it too Zbattle.exe which you need ot do with NVIDIAS firewall.

--Static I.P-- If your I.P changes (a good percentage do) then you will have to set a 'static IP' or the port forwarding you do is useless. Check www.whatismyip.com a few times to see of your I.P changes, if it changes then you will have to set your I.P static! Here is instructions www.portforward.com/networking/static-xp.htm Forward the ports to the static I.P address when you've set it static.

--Other-- If none of the above then its probally your anti-virus, uninstall it & rule it out or perhaps now is a good time to format the computer & try with a clean slate, its worth it! Make sure your using one of the normal versions 1.36 or 1.42, note-- Make sure your not using the 1.51 or the 1.42d one, these don't work. 1.42 does or use 1.36 if your not sure. Both players have to be using the same ZSNES. Try letting the other person host too. You can always use TCP by pressing cancel in ZSNES as you start connecting & uncheck UDP then recconect or start as server again & it should work. If your getting an "error connecting to server" messge then the server is down or sometimes you need to reset the server occasionaly by doing this http://zbattle.net/?page=servhelp
