  1. There will be a handful of us looking for SNES games, likely at the same hotel. A friend of mine is going to meet up with me then we have BobK, shaftman, you. There will be games at the DT if people want them.

  2. Hey buds. I have 3 series left with 3 GMs. If you're on this list, let's set some time up.

That being said I am away most of this weekend. For sure can't play tonight or tomorrow, maybe on Sunday.

Best times for me are evenings from about 7pm to 11pm EST but I'm flexible if it has to be later. Can we set aside some blocks of time and knock out these games next week?

    Edmonton - Oilers442

    Toronto - stheds200

    Chicago - wwojo75

  3. Thanks guys! The series is now uploaded... game 5 is a bit funny since we didn't save state after regulation. I simmed a game to get the right score but the player stats might be weird.

Amusingly I initially uploaded the wrong game 1 but the site accepted it since I had used the save state from last year... with the same teams in the finals! So Bob, same place next year?

  4. Good evening buds!

Can't upload any games just yet as the site's not ready but just wanted to let y'all know that over 7 extremely hard fought games I managed to force Bob K to relinquish the Puck Dynasty crown... there will be no repeat champion in '94...

The scores are below for posterity but everyone should know by now that Bob is a fighter and a gentleman. My emotions were up and down. I punched. He counterpunched. I feinted, he was patient. I struck, he was there! But in the end, the gods favoured Houston over Ottawa on this night.

    Don't mess with Texas.

    5-2 HOU
    5-3 OTC
    5-2 HOU
    4-3 OTC
    6-5 HOU (2OT)
    4-2 OTC
    6-2 HOU
  5. I think you have to allow some sort of substitutions, otherwise guys are going to get totally screwed by players that randomly decide not to catch passes for an entire game. And even apart from that sometimes you just need to bring in a heavier guy, or a faster guy, etc.

Honestly in the SNES games I've played I haven't had a big issue with people abusing line changes or doing anything too "unethical". But maybe I've gotten lucky.

I would say anything goes at the tourney but I realize you might run into time constraints. A certain number of line changes per game might be the way forward but it's a little tough to enforce.
