  1. Edmonton takes Dirk Graham. As we begin Round 6 be careful who you draft. Mav may only draft fighters and goalies from here on.
  2. Edmonton takes Gerald Diduck. All of these picks are confirmed. Brutus is on the clock.
  3. Montreal takes Phil Housley per Mav's instructions. This pick is not official until 10:59 AM JackandJose please wait until 11 to make your pick so Mav has a chance to change this if he cares to. At 11 AM you may pick.
  4. Seano has now missed his 4th round pick, but he is still on the clock with the first pick of round 5. I sent him a PM. So he has until 8 AM to make his 2 picks if he does not, he is skipped and Blitzburgh can pick. Seano can jump back in and pick at any time tomorrow, but he can not take a player from you once you have drafted him. I hope this is clear and Seano wakes up early for school tomorrow. Glad it is not Mav as we know he would not be up yet. Hopefully Mav can make his 10 AM slot. I am out West and get up about 4 AM (7AM Eastern). So hopefully this will all be sorted out when I get up. I plan on having the Rom done by early Sunday and available for a 1 week pre-season. So start thinking about your line combos. The regular season will begin on Dec 1. 2 Deadlines for regular season. 18 games by Jan 1. 42 games by Feb. 1. End Regular season. 1 week for each round of the Playoffs. Communicate. I am flexible but will not keep slackers, whiners, or quitters. Meet the deadlines and don't quit. I believe this is a strong league. Prove me right. We will have a Cup Champion by March 1.

  6. I will put the draft at the top of Page 3 momentarily
  7. Mav is still on the clock. New York must wait.
  8. The Oilers take Trevor Linden
  9. Edmonton takes Kevin Hatcher
  10. Fighting 65 = 71 on that spreadsheet. The overalls look the same on a quick check. NOSE is the easiest thing to use. #1 Get an Original 93 rom. #2 Delete players when they are picked so you don't pick them. #3 Put the players you draft on an All-Star team. I will be doing my best to stay on top of the draft and we can help each other as you already have. It is going to take some effort especially in the later rounds and when guys have to be 71 or more in fighting. It is going great just keep it rolling buds.
  11. Approved. Pittsburgh gets Marty McSorley. They also incur a fine of buying the first cold one for the commissioner.
  12. Edmonton takes Steve Smith.
  13. This is handy. http://forum.nhl94.com/index.php?/topic/2759-nhlpa-93-a-hockey-fighters-analysis/ You can also use NOSE to see each player. Someone must have a spreadsheet, but these are the 2 things I use. Mav is on the clock.
  14. THE DRAFT: I have lifted the restrictions on the rounds. You will draft at the same time twice every day. You can draft who you want when you want. However, you must have 6 skaters rated 71 or higher in fighting. You can follow the rosters on the league web-site. You are responsible for NOT drafting more than 4 skaters whose fighting rating is below 71. Round 1 Monday 11-18-13 7AM Boston (Seano) Jeremy Roenick 8 AM Pittsburgh (Blitzburgh) Mario Lemieux 9 AM New York (Insanity) Mike Gartner 10 AM Montreal (Mav) Steve Yzerman 11 AM Washington (Jackand Jose) Mark Messier 12 Noon Toronto (Jer33) Bob Probert 1 PM Edmonton (CoachMac) Steve Smith 2 PM Chicago (Brutus) Cam Neely Round 2 Monday 11-18-13 2 PM Chicago (Brutus) Al Iafrate 3 PM Edmonton (CoachMac) Kirk Muller 4 PM Toronto (Jer33) Ray Bourque 5 PM Washington (JackandJose) Gary Roberts 6 PM Montreal (Mav) Dave Manson 7 PM New York (Insanity) Sergei Federov 8 PM Pittsburgh (Blitzburgh) Marty McSorley 9 PM Boston (Seano) Ulf Samuelsson Round 3 Tuesday 11-19-13 7AM Boston (Seano) Brendan Shanahan 8 AM Pittsburgh (Blitzburgh) Jaromir Jagr 9 AM New York (Insanity) Rick Tocchet 10 AM Montreal (Mav) Esa Tikkanen 11 AM Washington (Jackand Jose) Steve Chiasson 12 Noon Toronto (Jer33) Mike Ridley 1 PM Edmonton (CoachMac) Kevin Hatcher 2 PM Chicago (Brutus) Alexander Mogilny Round 4 Tuesday 11-19-13 2 PM Chicago (Brutus) Glen Wesley 3 PM Edmonton (CoachMac) Trevor Linden 4 PM Toronto (Jer33) Keith Brown 5 PM Washington (JackandJose) James Patrick 6 PM Montreal (Mav) Claude Lemieux 7 PM New York (Insanity) 8 PM Pittsburgh (Blitzburgh) 9 PM Boston (Seano) Round 5 Wednesday 11-20-13 7AM Boston (Seano) 8 AM Pittsburgh (Blitzburgh) 9 AM New York (Insanity) 10 AM Montreal (Mav) 11 AM Washington (Jackand Jose) 12 Noon Toronto (Jer33) 1 PM Edmonton (CoachMac) 2 PM Chicago (Brutus) Round 6 Wednesday 11-20-13 2 PM Chicago (Brutus) 3 PM Edmonton (CoachMac) 4 PM Toronto (Jer33) 5 PM Washington (JackandJose) 6 PM Montreal (Mav) 7 PM New York (Insanity) 8 PM Pittsburgh (Blitzburgh) 9 PM Boston (Seano) Round 7 Thursday 11-21-13 7AM Boston (Seano) 8 AM Pittsburgh (Blitzburgh) 9 AM New York (Insanity) 10 AM Montreal (Mav) 11 AM Washington (Jackand Jose) 12 Noon Toronto (Jer33) 1 PM Edmonton (CoachMac) 2 PM Chicago (Brutus) Round 8 Thursday 11-21-13 2 PM Chicago (Brutus) 3 PM Edmonton (CoachMac) 4 PM Toronto (Jer33) 5 PM Washington (JackandJose) 6 PM Montreal (Mav) 7 PM New York (Insanity) 8 PM Pittsburgh (Blitzburgh) 9 PM Boston (Seano) Round 9 Friday 11-22-13 7AM Boston (Seano) 8 AM Pittsburgh (Blitzburgh) 9 AM New York (Insanity) 10 AM Montreal (Mav) 11 AM Washington (Jackand Jose) 12 Noon Toronto (Jer33) 1 PM Edmonton (CoachMac) 2 PM Chicago (Brutus) Round 10 Friday 11-22-13 2 PM Chicago (Brutus) 3 PM Edmonton (CoachMac) 4 PM Toronto (Jer33) 5 PM Washington (JackandJose) 6 PM Montreal (Mav) 7 PM New York (Insanity) 8 PM Pittsburgh (Blitzburgh) 9 PM Boston (Seano) Round 11 Saturday 11-23-13 7AM Boston (Seano) 8 AM Pittsburgh (Blitzburgh) 9 AM New York (Insanity) 10 AM Montreal (Mav) 11 AM Washington (Jackand Jose) 12 Noon Toronto (Jer33) 1 PM Edmonton (CoachMac) 2 PM Chicago (Brutus) Round 12 11-23-13 2 PM Chicago (Brutus) 3 PM Edmonton (CoachMac) 4 PM Toronto (Jer33) 5 PM Washington (JackandJose) 6 PM Montreal (Mav) 7 PM New York (Insanity) 8 PM Pittsburgh (Blitzburgh) 9 PM Boston (Seano)
  15. Game Settings: Period Length: 5 minutes. (OT will be set to 1 min in Regular season and 99 mins in Playoffs.) Line Changes: ON Penalties: OFF, except for Fighting. (Fighting reduced to 1 min.) WEIGHT BUG FIXED! The Schedule: 6 games against every other team. 42 game season. The Playoffs: Best of 5 for all series (2-2-1). Top 2 in each Conference qualify plus 2 wild cards. The Draft: 6 Forwards, 4 Defense, 2 Goalies You must draft 6 fighters. (Players rated 71 or higher in fighting) Stats: W-L-T-PTS GF-GFA GA-GAA PIM-Fight record. After Each series coaches should report. Scores and Fight results. I will only keep team stats so don't send player names. However I encourage you to keep Individual stats that we can report at the end of the season. So it would look like this: EDM 9 TOR 4.........TOR 2-1 in fights TOR 6 EDM 5..........1-1 in fights TOR 11 EDM 8........TOR 3-1 in fights EDM 7 TOR 7...........EDM 1-0 in fights Series Totals TOR 2-1-1 EDM 1-2-1 EDM 29 TOR 28......TOR 6-4 in fights http://oldtimevideogamesports.webs.com/
  16. That was my thought. Especially with the fighting aspect. Plus it may make it slightly harder to score as players tire. But, My concern is that it will slow down the action too much.
  17. Yes, 93 only has 3 Lines. I would just put Line 1 in as your checking line as well. Line 1 Clark, Gilmour, Anderson Line 2 Mahovolich, Keon, Armstrong Chk Clark, Gilmour, Anderson In 5 minutes 2 lines is plenty.
  18. True. What about line changes?
  19. Great Comment. Almost ready to roll. Good thoughts. I will consider. Other guys please weigh in on your thoughts. I'll dial it all in by Saturday Night. Suggestions on Draft order?
  20. OK, I could do that. Personally I prefer 3 rounds of 5, but I would be OK with the Finals at 7. What about the back-up goalies? Any comments on that? Or Line Changes ON. Those are the 2 I thought I would hear some resistance on. Thoughts?
  21. I am not Gary Bettman! Send me any suggestions you have.
  22. New name for the NHLPA 93 WT BUG Fix Draft League. NHLPA 93 Hitz. Hopefully the begining of a long run and a salute to Smozoma's NHL 94 Blitz. Anyone up for designing a Intro Screen for our league Rom? I would love to have a pic of Probert with NHLPA 93 Hitz across it.
