I had it print out L/R instead of the number. I'll work on different colors rows in the morning. I changed the player names to links so they create new tabs in your browser with just that player's row of stats. Kinda bulky, tomorrow I'll try to throw a javascript snippet in there to create a sized down pop up window with the player's stats.

Hoping for Thursday or Friday. I wanted to get everything set up and get a schedule posted, plus it will allow for a couple days to let everyone know what is going on so there aren't any hold ups. I'm going to spend most of tomorrow finishing the graphics on the ROM.

Alright, so we have our GDL 9 coaches... I need to know from the new guys what teams they would like. Beavers33 has first preference down to synder in case there are any multiple requests. Also, flasox, hokkee and kgman need to let me know if they want to keep CGY, WSH, and WPG. Let's get this done ASAP, and we can start drafting soon.

Due to concern expressed by a couple of the coaches, I figured I would leave it up to the league. I had spoken to swos and VC, and since we all haven't been around for a while, figured this would be the best way to handle it. Mav is currently #3 on the waiting list, and will make it into the league this season. Are you guys ok with that, or would you rather leave him off?

Well, I would have to say that the response and interest has been amazing. Thanks guys!! We are just waiting to hear back from 5 individuals (3 coaches, and 2 waiting list players). I will give them until the end of this week, Sunday, August 19th at 12:00 AM EST (Saturday night into Sunday). I have tried contacting via forum message, AIM, and email. If they have not responded by then, I will assume either they aren't around, or the answer is NO. They will then forfeit their current team or waiting list spot. I will update the Teams list, but please start thinking about the teams that you will want, whether you are keeping the team you have, or want a new team. Please let me know ASAP whether you are staying with who you have, or if you want to change. Thanks!!! We are getting close!!

It's awesome to see that even now 19 years later that NHL '94 is still influencing their thoughts and ideas. Seriously, could these geniuses just sit down and "re-make" NHL '94. Add fighting, blood, take all of the amazing things the community here has come up with and release a downloadable game on XBox 360, PS3, Wii, and for the love of God, a ROM capable of being played (and updated) on an emulator. They re-rash the same BS for Mario, Zelda, GTA, COD, and Madden. Why not make an game that people would PLAY, even for the sentimental value. Who wouldn't put in $5, $10, or even $15? They can stay true to the legend of '94, and give the fans what they have been wanting for years.

I'm hoping to get it going as soon as possible. With the summer starting to wind down soon, I'm sure the guys will have some more time on their hands. As long as we can get the database set up (I'll get with swos on that), I'm hoping to be drafting in a couple weeks, if not sooner depending on everyone's response. I believe you, if anything let's see how everyone responds. Smozoma has already said no, so there is one spot opening up. There will probably be some more openings before it's all said and done. At the very least if the other waiting list guys don't mind, we could bump you up to the top of the list.
