  1. I'm with EA on this one...

    the ability to have more control over the team would be great.

    it would allow for more strategy in setting up the team obviously, and it would make the teams unique.

    and it would hopefully entice more dedicated players who would be able to complete a simpler schedule of 10-15 games.

    great idea!!!

  2. Dmitry has to set everyone up with a username and a password. that lets you log into the website.

    If you are new to the league you probably dont have one set up yet. All the returning guys can still use their old ones i guess.

    I imagine D will be doing that when he returns as well as fixing all the bugs.

    But the general instructions are like this:

    Once you login in the next screen will have a list of all the games on your schedule, and a browse file box.

    You click the check box next to the game you want to upload, and then select the save state file from that game and hit upload.

    A moment later if you did it correctly the game score will show up with a link to the box score.

  3. Absolutely, I'll leave the higher profile player with their number and then switch the other one (how they used to in All-Star games). I'll probably just either add 1 or subtract 1 from their jersey number.

    I know for AngryJay who has 2 Terry Yakes, I left one at 25 and switched the clone to 52. I wanted to make sure that it was ok for your database before I made many changes to jersey numbers. B)

  4. Based on the absolute silence in the Draft League Forum since the release, I hope everyone is enjoying the ROM and that practice is going well.

    Has anyone found any bugs/problems/errors with it so far??

    Are the All-Star teams challenging?

    I'm just trying to get an idea of anything that needs to be changed before the "Final" Version.

    Right now, there are just a couple sets of lines that need to be adjusted (HFD, and QUE) that didn't make it for the release.

    But, feedback is welcome. B)

  5. Ive played a few games against AngryJay on it and it seemed like the the controls arent as sharp as GENS. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm using a PS2 controller, its calibrated, and i have the buttons set up on Kega.

    Its very hard/borderline impossible to deke, and controlled player movement in general isnt crisp. I'll try to backhand to forward deke, and when i go to the forehand, instead of a smooth transition, the player will go at a 90 degree angle away from the goalie. (almost as if the diagonals arent fully responsive). On defense, its hard to position your guy as well.

    I agree its nicer to connect directly to the other player for a smoother game, but the controls issue sucks. Hopefully, there is an easy solution.B)

    Has anyone else noticed a difference between the two Emus?

    Is there a setting or an option in Kega that will help?

    Maybe a recalibration?

    Any ideas, or similar experiences??

  6. I was playing one time and i took a random slap shot from between the faceoff circles on the opposite end of ice... it was the end of the period b/c the camera didnt follow the puck... about 2 seconds later i hear the glass break, im like...what the??

    i check the instant replay and sure enough... :)

    i know it was an online game but i forget who it was against...

  7. I adjusted the overall ratings for all the teams, I searched around for the official method, but couldn't find one. I checked the edit the game threads and there was one, but it wasn't right as far as i could tell.

    I came up with an easy method of calculating...

    (the average of all players on the team + the average of the starting 5 and goalie) divided by 2

    ANA = 67

    BOS = 70

    BUF = 67

    CGY = 71

    CHI = 66

    DAL = 69

    DET = 68

    EDM = 73

    FLA = 72

    HFD = 78

    LA = 73

    MTL = 67

    NJ = 71

    NYI = 65

    NYR = 71

    OTA = 69

    PIT = 71

    QUE = 73

    SJ = 71

    STL = 68

    TB = 62

    TOR = 69

    VAN = 74

    WSH = 71

    SASE = 99

    SASW = 99
