I was camping for over a week, which was an unexpected trip. Sorry if I kept any of you guys in the dark, but i'm back now and in a 2-3 days i'm ready to start banging out games.

I don't know what it is but if you get a COLD Fuhr, you're playing with the best goalie in the league.
I know what you're talking about. Hextall doesn't ever become amazing, but strangely, he plays better with a cold streak than hot streak, or so it seems.

I'm not going to lie, I like the whole injury thing. Samuelson in the draft lg was a monster with those.
Also, implementing some kind of "season-ending" injury thing would be kind of cool too. Nothing drastic, but say you get 3 game injuries, you're gone for x amount of time, and if you get another after that, no more season for you. Ditto for playoffs

I have to say, I very much enjoyed this league. The manual stats isn't actually that bad, mostly because a lot of these games are low scoring anyways. Which is another bonus
.Also, one thing I loved a lot about the league:Recorded Playoff series'. Those were a blast to watch.

Deadline right now, my mistake. Theres one for Mike and Jay's series, but not one for all teams. Agreed, there needs to be a deadline, but stop bitching to D about it. Ask him to set a deadline in a reasonable and legible manner, and he will. Constantly harrasing him and making insults (or compliments? Sometimes your motives are iffy) isn't going to make him want to help you. Set the deadline for Friday, I say. Round 2 hopefully be gone with by monday.

What? How is it dmitri's fault if Pill and Kings are having trouble getting the games in? Cmon, they're working on it and THERE IS A DEADLINE. Give dmitri a break hokkee, he set the deadline, so you can stop complaining about the games not getting done, because once the deadline rolls around for round 1, the deadlines will be made shorter and the rounds will take a lot less time.
Honestly, dmitri runs the league great, so give him a break and don't flood the forums with complaints about stuff that has already been resolved.

Count me in for sure. I grew up playing the SNES version, and after getting booted out from playoffs in Draf and 07 league, i'm itching to make another run for the championship

Hm. I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but I think you man just taking one team and playing through the playoffs with it. If that's what you mean, it's simple. Just cycle through the teams with left/right. You'll see two teams. The top team is the team you'll play as throughout the playoffs. The bottom team is your opponent in the first round.
Unless you mean switching teams during the playoffs, which I think is impossible.

Wags, and Bsdaemon, shhh. I'm an avid player of both SNES and GENS, and they're completely different games, so arguing about which one is better or who is better in which game is ridiculous, it's a matter of preference.
For the love of christ, i'm starting to get really tired of watching people fight constantly in these leagues. Granted, they are competitive, but it's still a game, and for those familiar with the 07 league, we can see what happens when people take it too seriously.
