NES Ice Hockey Original 6 by INDIO

NES Ice Hockey lovers, I was bored and made a quick Original 6 hack. This game is amazing and would like to start a league for it if enough people are up for it. If you are interested please let me know!

Changes to the ROM include:

• New intro screen/team selection screen colours (Orange and black) instead of pink and blue.
• New jersey looks for all 6 teams
• Team Logos updated as best I could to represent the original 6
• Updated Ice graphic to show NHL original 6
• Updated faceoff circles and dot graphics to be more realistic
• Boards are yellow
• Also the Ref is the correct colours now. No longer Blue and Red

Damn. I’m 3 years late to this post!
 

About 10 years ago I made a similar Ice Hockey ROM with the original 6 teams. The colors were pretty tight and I did all the actual logos. The other graphics were a bit less refined than yours. 
 

I’ll try to find it when I have some time and post images. 

I’ve been thinking about picking it back up, but I really want to figure out how to edit some of the game mechanics, mainly making the game more difficult vs COM play. 
 

I dabbled with editing Tecmo Super Bowl years ago and this seems simpler, but I’m not smart enough to figure it out without guidance.

I remember seeing this years ago and wondering the same.  Pretty sure it was just a graphic someone created.

Doesn't seem like there's any interest in updating the Ice Hockey ROM.  Bummer.
