Standings updated.
Don't give up SSIG, you can still pull it off.
UPDATE
Deadline for round robin is being pushed back to Sunday, July 13th. With the 4th of July weekend and the working week I think a few days will help everyone get their games in.
Good Luck and have fun

Smo, what's the season game format going to be like?

TBL (vinniersmith) vs DET (coolguy71621)
In Detroit, MI:
TBL 6 DET 0
Game 2 to be played later.
EDIT!!!
In Tampa Bay, FL:
TBL 9 DET 0
-
TBL (vinniersmith) vs PIT (vocally caged)
In Pittsburg, PA:
Pit 6 Tbl 4
Tampa almost makes a comeback, takes a timeout down by one with little time to go as the Pens crush any hope of a comeback with a quick goal
In Tampa Bay, FL:
Tbl 8 Pit 6
Crazy intense third as the two teams swapped goals ending in the Lightnings favor.

Tampa Bay Lightning(vinniersmith) vs Atlanta Thrashers (wags)

TBL was up 4-1 going into third, Wags scored 4 unanswered to take a 5-4 lead but TBL fought back to steal the W back. Intense game.
In Atlanta, GA:
TBL 3 ATL 1

I'm not sure how many people on here are West Coasters, let alone remember the West Coast Hockey League. I started a rom for the 95 season today, I know Mack played in this league but not sure if this was one of the seasons he spent in this league? This is my first project, well second after a half assed attempt at a college rom last year. This rom will have the original 7 teams from the WCHL. After this is done, I plan on doing another WCHL rom of a year with all the expansion teams(Tuscon, Tacoma, Idaho, etc.).
Teams included on this rom:
Alaska Gold Kings
Anchorage Aces
Bakersfield Fog
Fresno Falcons
Russian Red Army
Reno Renegades
San Diego Gulls

Don't worry about it SSIG, I may push the deadline back a few days because of 4th of July weekend, I've been busy as well so I haven't been around as much.
Flamingpavelbure, you're on the waiting list, if some of these guys don't even start their games by the deadline, you can take over

My greatest argument against going to 4-on-4 full-time in the NHL:
LAWL!

Been playing this rom the last three days and love it

In Toronto, ON:
Tor 4 Ana 3
In Anaheim, CA:
Tor 5 Ana 4
Ana pulled to tie it 3-3 with 52 seconds to go in the 3rd period of game 4, but Toronto would score twice in a matter of 20 seconds and Anaheim fighting hard could only muster out one goal falling short.

My first time ever organizing a tournament, so here it goes.
The Rom:
The rom is Inkling's Frozen Four rom he made which can be found from the link below. The rom is a 94 hack with all the teams that made the Frozen Four Tournament in 2007, I wish we had the 2008 squads but oh well.
Rules:
Periods: 5 minutes
Penalties: On. except off-sides
Line Changes: Off (tested a game with line changes, but with the depth of the college game the pace of play slows down)
Goalies: manual
Format
It will be an NCAA tournament format, with four regionals rounds with winners advancing to the Frozen four. Regional rounds will each consist of four teams, the only place were this will vary from the NCAA tournament style is that each regional will be a round robin. Each team will play each other twice within your assigned pool, so you play six games in the regional. In the regionals, each game as 3 points up for grab.
A Win in regulation- 3 pts.
A loss in regulation- 0 pts.
A win in OT - 2 pts
A loss in OT - 1 pt.
In case of a tie in the standings, an extra game will decide the regional crown. Also in the regional, you will play each team twice, so in the mini series each team will be home once.
After that, the last four standing teams will face off. The semi-finals will be a best of 5 series, and the championship will be a best of 7.

FYI - This won't be a "1 night event" to clear up an confusion, it'll have a reasonable deadline though. The tournament will also begin once all teams have been chosen
Registration closed. I want to get this running, so with 8 teams we will do two regional brackets. Each bracket will be a round robin. Play each team in your bracket twice, and each game is worth three points using the point system above. The two top teams of each bracket will advance to the Frozen Four.
Start playing your games and have fun! The deadline for Round Robin play will be next Thursday July 10th at 11:59 PM.

In Anaheim, CA:
Ana 5 Chi 2
Ana 6 Chi 2
Great Games, I scored with 0:00 left in the third period of game 4 and there was no face off after or three stars of the game listed, it just went straight to the end of the game scoreboard screen, crazy lol.

I have nothing to do with this league, and I got a random Instant Message from him:
Dr P1zza (3:53:45 PM): Dr P1zza (3:52:28 PM): the whole community of NHL 94 is a joke
Dr P1zza (3:52:36 PM): you all think the world revolves around you
Vinnie R Smith (3:55:34 PM): ?
Dr P1zza (4:01:32 PM): Anyone who plays with that community is my enemy.
FYI to the admins.

MSU!! Go green! Go white!
I just joined though, so would I still need to play a confirmation game before I can join this?
aim - salembaseball7
Hey man,
No real confirmation is needed, if you want to hit me up for a game if you'd like though just to test the connection, my aim is listed above.

Best way to know if guys are on is to make a 94 Cap league section on your buddylist and add everyone onto it. Or at least it's the easiest for me, keeps everything organized so I know who's on in the league I'm looking to get in games for.
