    My last pick is very heart breaking.. I'd like to draft the very good pal and past calder trophy winner from Blitz 08, Fitzo, but im scared of his availabilty due to our geographicall situation.

    Therefore, after many interviews, Freydey is proud to select, from somwhere in north america, mister Lupz27.

    Hey guys, Blitz 09's regular season is officialy over today. Again, playoffs and DNPS were decided that way:

    • Making the playoffs is based on your points - DNPs (1dnp per game).
    • Home ice advantage is determined by your points - DNPs
    • Final standing to decide the 1st rounds matchup is based on PTS%
    • Reseedings after each round.

  9. GDL XII Draft Order and Rules

    was I left out intentionally ?

    Yesterday I messaged icestorm in aim at 10 am EST if I could still join and get my normal position in draft. I didn't get any reply. Now after I woke up I saw draft order being finalized.

    Did anyone receive any messages from icestorm yesterday (sunday) after 10AM est ? If yes then it shows I have been ignored. I don't think I was though as I know icestorm and he wouldn't do something like that.

    About rom hacks being used in GDL. I think GDL is the draft league for classic as it has always been because there is Blitz for the other.

    Of course commissioner is free to change things how he wants, but I also think it should be a vote.

    Shut up and go play NHL 15.

    2on2 is hella fun but 1on1 is better. Also I think 2on2 is harmful for your 1on1 skills because it makes you b check less. (of course it's because penalties are off and that nerfs b checks badly for whatever reason).

    Is it a coincidence that arguably the best b checkers are non 2on2 fiends? I think not

    All in all: 2on2 IS GREAT BUT DON'T FORGET TO B CHECK IN 1on1, ALSO B CHECK MORE BECAUSE IT'S STUPID GOOD

    there's actually more poke checks in 2on2 games because you can't switch players while pressing the B button.....

    EH!

    What Is the 2on2 WC? The 2on2 2on2 WC is a tourney, staring all the 2on2 stars and newcomers. It will include 5 or 6 teams, made of three players.
    How does it work? This year, the 2on2 commitee have elected 5 Official GMSs who will draft their own team with anyone who subscribes to the tourney in this thread.

    Can I play? Of course you can play, just sign up in this thread, by posting something like this: this seems in the ga, sign me up!

    What if nobody drafts me? This is unlikely, but if it happens, you will be put in the Free Agent list, and any GM can drop a player in his team and grab you. However, if a GM drops a player, he won't be able to grab him back and the player will be available for the other GMs, so BEWARE!

    What are the rules?

    • 5 minutes period with rules off
    • Schedule will consist of 4 games Vs every other team, 2 homes and 2 aways
    • TOP 3 teams qualifies for the playoff, 1st team overall gets a pass for the final while the 2nd and the 3rd seed play a BO5 to reach the 2ON2WC FINAL

    That sounds really weird, who are the GMS? So far, there's 5 GMS, all selected for their 2on2 passion and their enthusiasm for playing 2on2 games, but who knows, I could still add one....!

    How will the draft order be decided? I'll use an online randomizer and it will be a snake draft.
