    How could we even start this without knowing the outcome of the snake vs. non-snake debate?

    I've got 20th pick overall. You better believe the outcome of that vote is gonna effect my picks.

    Snake wins: I get 2 players that accommodate each other.

    Hybrid wins: I'm gonna pray I get guy that can play both ends.

    The way I read it, it did feel like a kick to the groin. Although you didnt directly say it, seems like you are definately implying something...

    ...just how hard was it too seriously win? thats all i asked, how hard was it, it wasnt how did it feel to have it handed to you, how did it feel to get lucky, how did it feel to win a cheap cup. it was simply this, how hard was it? there is no wrong answer, there is no right answer, its just how easy was it.

    I also do not understand why votes that were cast without comments were discounted. Presumably, the rationale is to prevent people from voting multiple times, but I noticed that the polls are set-up in such a way that people can only vote once. So should it really matter if people justified their votes or not?

    I think its because people that are not even involved in the league throw in a votes skewing the results.

    Why dont we just throw the conferences out the window and the top 8 (or whatever # we decide) make the playoffs? Everyone plays everyone 3 times.

    I know we talked about this a bit in season 1, but I'm not sure how things panned out in season 2.

    I don't want to come across as an 'I I I I, me, me, me' guy. I'm also speaking on behalf of my fellow new blood addicts.

    Ice is the real deal. I've played em a bunch lately. The dude loves to play. Has mad skill too. None of the cheap $hit either. He'd be a great addition to the league.

    I think if duplicates are allowed we should also allow All-star players to be selected. Since everybody hates the idea of one team getting the Roenick from the Blackhawks, then...why not the Roenick from the All-star team? Double trouble.

    Thats in interesting perspective. The only reason most people don't care is cause the duplicates in the game aren't anything special. But if there were 2 Roenicks...

    Previously I did not vote. I've now voted "NO" to dups.

    I voted snake. The reason: 1st pick or Last pick, you're going to get a solid roster. This is a key point that separates this league from the classic league; balanced teams.

    Non-snaking - Ouch. Those people with the last picks are just flat out screwed.

    Hybrid - Again, by the end of that 3rd round, its slim pickings to build a solid roster. I can see it now, a team with Roenick and Fedorov vs a team with Yake and Goulet.

    Bring balance to the draft!

    Personally, I'd love playing 7 minute periods because the games are so short. That's probably a wild suggestion and most people probably like the games at 5 minutes anyways. But if we were playing on 7, I'd definitely vote for a 3 or 4 minute boarding penalty.

    (I still haven't voted yet btw)

    We tried this once in the original (now defunct) draft league. The end result: 10 Goal blow outs, 20 goal games, momentum swings that could not be controlled.

    It was fun but ya gotta be prepared to take a beating. I took the worst beating of my life from Vocally Caged in 7 minute periods. I'm pretty sure he scored 20+ goals on me. Good times! lol
