  1. Pokrchamp- Kid and I are only chicks when it's "dress up time".

Now, if I can be serious for a moment, if I ever meet a cute chick who is super into NHL 94, it's over- she's mine man. That'll be the end of the search right then and there.

Imagine that! Best of seven series with a smokin hot chick.............. put a little "wager" on it with her............... presto you have a win-win situation.

I think I've just made a new goal in life. Must find beautiful girl who both loves 94 and has some serious skillz.

One can dream, right! haha :)

  2. Alright, rudy is out. Which is fine, I didn't really want him in it anyway, but I thought I'd still extend an offer since I know he is pretty dedicated to playing his games.

There was absolutely no need for that.

All you needed to do was state that a roster spot was open in the league.

  3. I just watched the replay of the goal in question.

Yes, the dman wasn't lined up at the right defence spot off the faceoff; he was up on the wing.

However, by the time Schwartz had control of the puck and crossed the blueline with it, he (it was Petr Svoboda, a D, you also had Doug Bodger on the ice, I told you the computer always makes sure you have two D out there even when killing off a five-on-three) was already WELL having gotten back into his position on D.

You then made a very ill-advised pinch with Svoboda, Schwartz blew around him easily, and then waltzed in and scored. You can see the star appear below him as you activate him and charge towards the puck carrier, missing him by a fair margin.

So you have yourself and your bad pinch to blame, not anything to do with the computer.

  4. alright, well off the faceoff there was a D-man missing from the right side... whether that was a dman or not... the point is there was a guy who wasnt in position to take the check

LOL it couldn't possibly have been that you simply lost to a good player on a legit goal.

Or that you made a mistake that led to a goal against.

    :(

  5. I also have to add my admiration and adoration and overall bowing down to angryjay for getting 16 games in in one day, that makes for a spinning head and some sore thumbs man but it's great to see someone who really cares about getting their games in- yeah!

  6. Seems as though randomly going on AIM/MSN to try and find a game isn't working........... only guys I can ever find are guys I've already played my games against (the Fentys and Rudys of the world). Happening upon half of the guys in this league by chance on AIM is like winning the lottery.

Also seems as though making posts in the "Schedule a Game" forum asking for specific guys to schedule a game for me doesn't work; nobody has responded all season, guess these guys don't use the forums.

So I'll just issue a general challenge to anyone in the SNES A League who I still have remaining games against: Who wants to play tonight? It's been almost two weeks since I've logged a league game (have played two against Blazer in the meantime but he has yet to log them, which is quite frustrating) and I want to get things going again.

I'll be at a junior hockey game in the early evening but should be home at around 9:00 EST. Anyone who wants to play me from then on, respond away here.

  7. No, I have no idea what league and console he plays on. If I did, I wouldn't have asked.

Well God knows you're on this site enough, so you would think you would. Especially since he's one of the more prominent SNES figures...... plays a lot of games, posts quite a bit on the forums, and is a league contender.

You were in the same league as him last year. You played games against him. You know who he is. You're just playing dumb to try and justify your original nitpicky post.
