Actually, I'd probably put in Andreychuk on C because while he's got some good offensive stats, his stickhandling leaves something to be desired, especially if you pass it on his wing. On center, the turnovers won't be as terrible and you can still keep the speed if you have Modano on one of the wing positions where you can exploit his speed and boomstick.
Of course, that's just my opinion. You have to decide whether you want speed and playmaking or toughness that goes with a grinding style.
Your defense is full of good hitters, but they handle like a mack truck on a narrow passage in the Andes mountain range.

Well, the Predators won game 4 and now it's time for some home sweet home action.

Sons, I am disapoint nobody made a thread of these series yet.
I feel that there may be a change of the guard if Nashville succeeds. I like what I have seen of the Predators and it does look like the hard work they've been investing these last few years are paying off. Detroit is still dangerous, but they need to crack the Predators' D and Pekka Rinne, who's been playing very well.
If they win right now, the momentum goes to the Predators.

People in NHL.com are chirping on how cheap Crosby was even in the 'fights' he was involved in. They must have watched a different game from mine because at the very least he didn't have to hide behind something or someone when it comes to fights.

Even if Timmonen was older, he still shouldn't have fought.

It was unexpected from Crosby, though some would argue that was dumb. Even dumber was Timmonen picking the fight with a big guy like Letang. I don't think he'll fight again anytime soon because he got seriously dominated.

So far, this series has been the most enjoyable to watch. They did not disappoint!
You mean all of the series, Halifax. Almost every series has gone on to OT at least once and the only ones that hasn't gone down that road are Kings/Canucks and Predators/Red Wings.

Oh, boy. Another person that wants Schneider to get brought in, even though this is actually hardly Luongo's fault in both games.

That's hilarious.
Even more hilarious for me is that some people rag on Laviolette for one reason or another, that he sometimes makes foolish calls or whatnot and yet he can produce results at the right time and makes smart use of the timeout.
He should open up a seminar about that subject. Andy Reid should attend it.

With all my heart, I hope the Kings get the upset, but things will be hard. Basically, the offense has to show up all games and prove they won't take Vancouver's crap just how they showed in game 1. Los Angeles needs to make games like that.

Just so it's crystal clear, Ray Bourque is hilariously broken. No other d-man in the game comes even close to what he does. He can basically handle it all!
