So basically, we face each other 3 times in a day as programmed each sunday during the league and we may win lose or draw on each of the 3-game series. It'll go on until we reach the final brackets, so how will that play out?
-
Well, if anything, we could have someone else create a database like the one made for GDL, for instance. Do you think the same guy who made it can help?
-
Made an edit on my first post. Now I'm in a quandary, since there isn't a forward that I can take that goes without exceeding the 228 overall mark. Should I drop Neal Broten then?
-
My list:
Neal Broten 69
Rich Sutter 50
Stephane Richer 57
Kay Whitmore 50
Total = 176 overall
EDIT: I believe Sjodin was taken, so I'm going for Richer. I followed the rules, took 1 from each position and average is below 220. It's good, right?
EDIT2: Added Rich Sutter. I'm now set!
EDIT3: NVM, removed Sutter and I got my roster worked out.

I got this idea and I want to see if it works out.
I was thinking that we should use the game's feature of User Records for the league when it comes to games made between the contestants and I believe it may be a good idea to use them for reference because in this way we can keep track on the players who won, lost or tied in games, thus making things a little easier.
Of course, you may say no to that. This is just an idea.

Basically, the ones participating in this league should jot down their roster so that they don't forget who they got. Changes can apply when you've done trades.
Detroit Red Wings
Goalie: Ed Belfour
Forwards: Kirk Muller, Tony Granato, Jari Kurri, Sergio Momesso, Mike Ridley
Defensemen: Nicklas Lindstrom, Alexi Kastonov, Sylvain Cote
Added: Neal Broten (F), Stephane Richer (D), Kay Whitmore (G)
Your turn, guys.
EDIT: Added 3 players, but I'm now I'm 1 forward short and that goes without exceeding 228. Damn. Also, I erased that bit with the SEBES trade, since it didn't work out. Once I sort everything out, the lines will be set here.
EDIT2: My lines should be set now. Here they are.
SC1
Center - Kirk Muller
Right wing - Jari Kurri (#17)
Left wing - Tony Granato
Right defenseman - Nicklas Lindstrom
Left defenseman - Alexi Kastonov (#25)
Starting goalie - Ed Belfour
Bench
Center - Neal Broten
Right wing - Sergio Momesso
Left wing - Mike Ridley (#9)
Right defenseman - WRONG
Left defenseman - Slyvain Cote
Sub goalie - WRONG
I put the corresponding jersey numbers with Ridley and Kastonov, since they coinicided with Kurri and Broten with #s 17 and 7, respectively. Thanks for XdeathsbloodX for the note!
EDIT: Edited, yet again! It should be set now and I removed Sutter. I had forgotten about Ridley and Lindstrom! XDDDD Shame on me. I should be set now. x___x

I dunno, but I can guess we aren't gonna draft during weekends again. It's in the weekdays in which we can do it more quickly.
-
-
I take Joe Juneau in this round. With this, my roster spots for 1 goalie and 4 forwards is complete and I'm moving onto the defensemen.
-
I pick the Finnish Flash, Jari Kurri. The original one, mind you.
-
Kirk Muller is now a Red Wing!
-
If I may, I can could take Gilmour. I think he's a good two-way center and since I'm a rookie, I could use him.
BTW, originally I took Brett Hull, right? That means that I got Ed Belfour and hokkee has Hull due to our trade. BTW, why is Houlanov being a crybaby when he knew about the draft and why are we making consessions? Unless he had a good reason for his absence or whatever, a guy like that can't get his 'just desserts' for that. .o.
P.S. Depending on the pick I make tonight, I may or may not get him, so I'll wait for Round 2. If I don't change my mind, anyone's welcome to get him.

I got Belfour by trade.

Ok, just so you can see what I'm talking about in Hamachi, I have the pics to show for it.
This is Hamachi when it's open
This pic is when it's connecting...
... and this is when it fails
Does someone have the same problem as I do? What can I do to fix this??
EDIT: For the one guy who gave me the solutions link.... You win the internet!!
What's the name of your network on Hamachi? I'm gonna join it now.
-
Me too, but I hope it doesn't move too far a week or two. I can make it on Monday, though.
-
So how will the drafting of players work out? Once we pick them, they're gonna be on the mod rom you'll spread around? I'm gonna feel as though I'm the clock here, so I'll do my best to get a good team.
BTW, is it gonna be some sort of ficticious teams like on the 2 on 2 rom game?
-
I would say Gens Hockey Draft League. XD
And yes, I want to join this one.
-
Have you guys gotten started on that league? Do you use Gens?
-
At any rate, has anyone had problems with connecting with Hamachi? The mediation servers just don't accept my login, even though I have a new account. What gives? What should we do?
-
But there are some guys like me who can't get Hamachi to work because the mediating servers can't let you log in. It's not nice, and I don't like it. I played with metz a couple of games on Gens and it did okay. Maybe the ping and the connection wasn't so good? You should address such a problem in case players can't get into Hamachi.
-
Hamachi doesn't let me log in. I can't seem to get it to accept my login request, so what do I do? I once played Melty Blood ReAct and it was fine. This baffles me.

I'm a new guy here and I have heard about online leagues on a reply in YouTube so I thought I should drop in and play, since NHL 94 is a very fun game to play.
I'm looking for some players I wanna play against, since I want to hone my skills for upcoming leagues and other future games. My AOL handle of Iceguy94@aol.com so you can reach me anytime you want. Help this noob out and let's have fun. =D
Exhibition and practice games!
