Thanks to @McMikey , we now have a web-based browser (AI-created) where it's extremely easy to get set up and play NHL'94 online. https://kingof94.web.app 80+ players have joined in the last 2 days. 40+ have played against an opponent. There's an easy lobby system to find playerss. Some guys are testing their skills against the Happy Jay Ai bot. I've played against players from all over North America and Europe and even played a guy using his phone and a Bluetooth controller. The connections have been great for me!

Hi, I'm Tickenest. You may remember me from such threads as "Classic Fall 2020 GENS-A Season Report" and "The Truth". Well I have decided that I want to try and answer some lingering questions that we have about this game. We don't know exactly what some player attributes mean. We don't know what causes some players to commit more penalties than others. We don't know why our teams take fewer shots in the Down direction than the Up direction, but we shoot a higher percentage in the Down direction. After discussing with a few other people it seems like a great time to revive the SNES draft league (SDL) after a several year hiatus. This post is to indicate your interest and make suggestions or ask any questions you might have about the format. I would like to run this starting this winter with games starting after Classic finishes. May I be the first to thank dantml and King of 94 for their recent "Classic League," uploads, on YouTube! As someone who doesn't really do Twitch, and I find discord too busy and confusing, it's fantastic to be able to watch the classic league matches, on a comfortable platform. With the exception of Smash64 and GoldenEye Speedrunning, '94 is the only gameplay I watch. On Wednesday, 5 October 2005, the very first nhl94online.com Classic season kicked off. That makes the Fall 2020 Classic season the 15th anniversary season. It is simply stunning that the community has stuck together (even if old-timers like me went away for a long, long time...) for this long, as there is certainly no divinely ordained reason for this community to exist. So let's all thank Evan Eldredge once again for having the crazy idea back in the mid-2000s of devoting an *entire website and forums* to a decade-old video game and then the even crazier idea of organizing an online league. Years ago, I ran an ongoing NHL '94 competition called the NHL '94 Cup Chase. It was an ongoing competition, structured more like boxing than anything else. The idea was that you had one player who was the title holder and everyone else was trying to take it from him. Every week, the title holder had to defend it from the challenger, while everyone else was trying to climb the mountain by winning games against their assigned opponents. It failed because not enough guys were able to play their games each week, which is understandable because life and technology sometimes get in the way. So, I ended up reviving the site so people can still create NHL '94 avatars. At some point I'll try to update the list of teams so we have Vegas and Seattle and maybe I'll add a few classics into the mix like Hartford, Quebec, etc. Anyways...since it seems like some people are still enjoying creating their own NHL '94 players, I'll do my best to maintain the site for as long as there seems to be demand for it. Looking for 26 snes players for a league on the nhl94 website that chaos will put up using therealnhl94 ROM created by xstioph. The ROM and player ratings are slightly different from the usually one adding a little wrinkle. The teams are updated with trades made at the deadline in 94 and the ratings are updated based on the actual 94 season stats with accurate rosters, as the original game was made after the 93 season. There is only a 19 point overall rating swing between the best and worst team for the most part, so the teams are more even than the original version.
