First, I want to say "HOLY CRAP" on your come from behind series win vs who I thought was going to win the entire Gen D league, Buffalo.
When is a good time for you to play our Division Championship Series?
I'm usually free weeknights from 6pm-midnight.

Hartford - "Brass Bonanza"
Well Brass Bonanza by far is the best song in the game, however they never play it after Hartford scores a goal in NHL 94. Instead it is heard at Hartford home games at the start of every period and randomly thoughout play during periods sometimes even one after another with a minor break. Also Brass Bonanza in NHL 94 is played at many other teams games during the course of play.

I can't give the complete list for sure yet. There are things to consider while picking teams for this game. Mainly, i chose teams who had a pretty good season last year. I took out teams that are usually inconsistent or experienced a hiccup in their program last season. But there were teams that are usually not all that great, that ended up having a very good season. (Holy Cross, for example) For the last few teams, i might hold a small poll to see which teams are more popular.
Good news is at the rate i'm doing the rosters, I should be able to finish the rosters and jerseys way sooner than expected, hopefully before i start school on the 21st. However, the game still won't be complete, as I am completely clueless when it comes to the cosmetics of the game. I would really like this mod to be used in a league, so I'm gonna try my best to not present a game that may be fun to play, but a pain in the retina to look at.

Yeah Holy Cross is a very good team. I watched games from the Atlantic Hockey and there were some standout teams. If Holy Cross the champion is in it, so should Mercyhurst College as well as Sacred Heart University. As those two schools are way better at hockey than Army and Connecticut as far as hockey. Also Air Force is in their conference this year. So I think that if Army and Uconn are in the game, then Mercyhurst College as well as Sacred Heart University whose teams stood out above the others should be in.

Well there wasn't an option to select leagues, but because i'm a "rookie" and this is my first year I would hope to be in the B league.. Also I started to register at 12, however 2 tries through Firefox wouldn't register when I clicked the button. Filled out a form with IE, and submitted at like 12:09, with the Hartford Whalers my #1 choice. I think I could get them because they aren't exactly the best team, but it's my team..

The only prize that's totally NECESSARY in my opinion is the customized Stanley Cups for the champions of each league.......... which I think is the absolute coolest idea ever.............. even cooler than the idea of girls taking their clothes off for money.

I'm rather curious myself. I check in once a week to see if maybe a title has been crowned, and rarely see any progress. I anticipated the playoffs would be done long ago and we'de already be onto a new season by now. It's sort of discouraging for those of us waiting around I guess.... it just seems like a new season is never going to be begin (because this old one never going to end)
I suspect the lack of games is due to the fact that it's summer. Which is totally understandable. Except, I think in all fairness, if you're not able to play your games in a reasonable amount of time, let Evan know. I mean, if you're not really "excited" enough to want to play your games at the earliest possible time, then you probably don't even care whether you win or lose anyways.
I'm sure I'll take some flack, but so be it.. I'm getting wrestless... it'll be the most action I'll see around this site since the regular season ended.
No I completely agree. With me being an upcoming "rookie" I have been checking out the site since the early spring. I completely agree with your statement on peoples lack of desire to want to play now. Every few days I come and check out to see if any progress has been made. I know I cannot wait until the next season starts and am pumped. I've already played some "scrimmage" games against some people so at least I can get use to the online play and the adjust to the slight lag at times. I think everyone including all the new members to join next season are itching for it to start soon and get going.

I don't know how possible this is and such, but since we are in control of the team as a General Manager basically what about trading players? Maybe have a trading deadline of the first half of the season, and all trades have to go though the Commisioner or Administrator in this case(Maybe only update the trades or signings for a download once a week so that all trades that occur during the week aren't final until the weekend or something?). However the Commissioner would have to update the rosters/rom for everyone to have them updated. I think it would be good maybe to trade away an extra defender or center to another team to improve my style of play or just help out the team. Just a thought though.

Just wondering when the next planned league is. Summer, Fall, Winter? Also i've noticed that there is a waiting list to play currently, so maybe we can have two different leagues going on at the same time for the next time. Either you can have a veteran and a rookie league or you can just split into two. I know that i am one that is interested in joining an online league for the Genesis. Why you ask? Well because NHL 94 has gotten so many hours from me playing it and it still isn't old. Not only that I want to face some new competition, people that can play. Because currently besides a few random games I'm stuck playing versus the computer which has no difficulty setting. If there is no new league starting a new season soon then there should be some sort of section where everyone that wants to play NHL 94 is at. Because if there is a waiting list, I wouldn't mind playing some of them just to get some good competition.

Anyone here use voice chat like Mumble / Ventrilo / Skype etc to communicate with a teammate or to chat during a game instead of typing out text via AIM / Netplay / Hamachi? Useful for teammates or chatting with an opponent. There are certainly times when you don't want to say much during a game or it wouldn't be "PG", but it's easier to say than type.
Also if anyone wants any exhibitions or wants to help me learn some 2v2 I'd be grateful. AIM: BATBL18
