    1.13 - St. Louis is proud to select Mark Messier as its first pick of the draft.

    Please raise your hand if you had Messier the previous season. I'll send you a PM.

    He may have assumed that he still owned Modano, so he thought of pulling a fast one on us and made his protection pick. So unless he made a trade with someone that we didn't know about, his protection pick shouldn't stick unless someone took a player from Chicago first.

    Was this really that difficult. Read smoz's post a little higher up.

    Also, I'm worried that you guys have Retrieving so worked up, he's going to take his frustrations out on those of us in his division and tear us new assholes.

    I would be more worried about VOC, Donny and Zalex than whoever this Retrieving guy is considering he hasn't played a single classic game before according to the all time stats.

    i don't really see a flaw in the system. you get the highest team available on the list that YOU created. if you want to blame something, blame the fact that we have a lot of players and the only fair way to go about draft order is a random draw. you could also blame yourself for choosing tampa bay as one of your top 10 teams.

    This is spot on. Nicely put.

    I think this is going to be an exciting season!!

    Not really complaining, but it'll feel like I'm in the middle of World War II. I think I can handle trying to use San Jose, since they have less weight problems compared to the lesser teams.

    But if you still think I'm complaining, you can both eat my balls. And no, I'm not editing this off.

    Really, in the middle of World War II ?!?!?! I bet the people who actually were in World War II would much rather play online nhl 94 with San Jose than fighting to the death in a war.

    But you never know, I could be wrong,,,,

    I get San Jose this time? Uh oh... It's gonna be a bad season in Bosnia in here.

    I repeat my SNES soiree with Philadelphia? Fine with me, I'm ready to hit people with Lindros again.

    How many total games do we get? Is it gonna be a 2-game affair like with NHL91?
