  1. I score a lot right off the faceoff. Win it, and wing or center goes right down and scores a quick one. Usually it's 8 seconds but once in a while it's 7. For a while I've been checking the scoring summary to see if i could break 7, but I assumed it was impossible. Today I scored in 6 w/ Bondra (99 speed). It was glorious. I've got a screen shot.
  2. I just dont think I want to replay the whole game because of the score. I'll play an entire period and we can add that score to what we had.
  3. 2:38 left in the 3rd period I'm up 7-3 w/ a man in the penalty box. What is the standard procedure?
  4. Two games against NYR and one with the others. hook it up. AIM: Tacodans
  5. I'm on every night. Best times for me are between 9:15pm (EST) and 11:30pm. But, I am on a lot during the day as well. If one of the aforementioned players wants to set up a time I can easily do it. Lemme know. What happens to those games that aren't played by Oct7th? In regards to Detroit, I can understand wanting to spread things out but we've got 5 days left for the first half of the season and I can't imagine he's played too many games.
  6. Several GensB leaguers are not available to play. I've been looking for several players for a while and havent seen em. The first half of the season is almost over. I have never seen these guys online: NYR LA Boston Calgary Toronto San Jose These guys have been on but are hard to get a game with: Hartford (always has an away message) Detroit (played him once in an exhibition) Come on dudes, lets do this. IM: Tacodans Team: Washington
  7. i just got the call to join. Played my first league game last night and am anxious to play more. 95% of my games will have to be played after 9pm eastern time. AIM: TacoDans Team: Washington I am not quite as computer savvy as some so I might need a few walk throughs on the set up but I'll have the hang of it soonish.
  8. dudes, I am officially in. I downloaded the gens emulator and today purchased a controller. boom. Now I need a little help getting into game play and it'll be go time. AIM is Tacodans do it.
  9. I'm working on getting a solid controller. For now it's genesis only for me. I've been working on some holes in my game but I think I'm going to learn some new stuff when I finally get the emulator up and running. Looking forward to it...
  10. About to get involved here. Wondering if there is a "best" conroller for the genesis game. If so where to get it, etc. word.
  11. First time poster.... I am the best player that I know of on sega. That being said, I think I'm gonna get drilled on here. Before yesterday I thought I might be top 10 in the world though. Watching some youtube highlights I realized that my one-timer is pretty effing weak. I have been practicing that against some weak comp using The Whale. Also working on my manual goalie. One time in a random non gamer forum the topic of video games came up and I claimed to be the best NHL94 player. Some dude challanged me for any amount of money. We settled on 100 bucks and because he was in Boston and me in CT eventually met up. He was your typical "i've never been beaten..." guy. We were both slightly drunk and both pretty much agreed to play for free. Shoulda stuck to my guns. Took him down in the best of 3 series 6-2 and 7-1. Really wish I hadn't pussed out on the loot. But, he also claimed to be the best beer chugger and I had already witnessed him chug a can of beer in some obscene amount of time. Shoulda known, nobody can be that good at two different things... During the 2nd game I was talking to my friends and basically making fun of the dude. He was nothing but an above average player. Anyway, look forward to playing with you guys.
