    I take it that it is too late to join up? :( I asked the admin of NHL94 about a league back in February, and I assumed that he would keep in touch to let me know when the league would start...

    Hey sorry that that happened to you. I'm sure it was an honest mistake. Unfortunately this league is closed for sign ups. But if a spot opens up...I'll keep ya posted.

    What's the current status for what's going on with the league?

    Hey tickenest,

    I've started the team selection process. I'm waiting for Pyl85 to get back to me with his pick. I figured this process would take a bit...depending on how fast guys got back to me. But I figure the league will be up in running sometime within the next 10 days.

    Important note for all coaches: once you pick your team we will need to play an exhibition game through zbattle...just so i know that every is set up...with zbattle there shouldn't be very many issues in regards to connecting with coaches. Last season I connected fine with every coach that used it.

    Yeah Halifax sounds good. I used to be really good,but that was when I was in like 7th grade.

    When/where,and how? Open challenge to anyone who wants to play. I am not a huge "computer" guy so you have to bare with my lack of comprehention. and spelling.

    Cool...I'm just waiting on receiving a new controller in the mail. when I get set up i'll give you a heads up and walk you through the process. you need three things to get you started which you can find here under downloads section.

    the online play is a little different compared to the system...it'll only take a game or two to get your timing down though.

    The team selection order was selected with returning coaches being listed in reverse order of their position in the standings from the previous season. New coaches were drawn randomly for the rest of the order.

    If I remember correctly, in a different thread, you said I could have Vancouver.

    Do I still get them?

    I think I know which thread you are referring to. I think there's a misunderstanding. I put you down as a coach but did not give you a team. I haven't assigned teams as they will be drafted by the coaches.

    side note: Being a canuck fan myself I was gonna pick the canucks this season(thinking no one would want them anyways)...assuming pyl85, and bsdaemon didn't select them before me of course....but I think I'll pass on them. I've never seen so many requests to use the canucks...lol.

    Halifax are you using all the NHL teams?

    Am I and Case on the waiting list or in?

    Put me in if you can.

    The standing should go by the persons name not the team.

    Why no doubles of teams?

    The teams shouldn't matter why can't people choose the team right before the game starts?

    Nobody should get confused.

    Halifax don't you think it's unfair to be stuck with the same crappy team all season.

    If the two best guys at the end want to be the same team.What's wrong with that?

    Then at least nobody would have an advantage going into the game.

    Unlike how it is now where someone can have a fast Jagr and Lemieux vs. Kudelski and Baker.

    I've included you and casey in the league and yes the league is full now. I'll just have to make sure that all coaches have zbattle. I'll confirm this with an exhibition game with each of them.

    You raise a lot of good points in regards to choice of picking whatever team they like. For me, it's a personal preference of how I want the league to be. Maybe down the road I may look at changing the settings..but for this league...it will stay as is.

    I'm not sure what you mean that someone will get a crappy team? there's 26 teams in the game. I'd consider the 5 'expansion' teams crappy...but then there's 21 other teams to pick from. With no line changes this levels the playing field quite considerably I think.
