i'll let jj have this weekend to post something on the board telling us whats up. monday i will go with the committee's decision on a replacement if necessary. sorry i haven't been around to play this week either, i will catch up next week.

i watched about 1000 games on center ice.
i'm surprised a bit by detroit. i think it will be ottawa vs anaheim in finals, and the ducks defense holds off ottawa barely. really wouldn't shock me to see any of these 4 teams win the cup.

yes it would be possible but would take a lot of work. i have other things i'd rather finish before i start this, but we could do this for next season.

the only difference is that the teams would be different than they should be for the back games. if JR is traded back in time to day 1 and i have to face him again, then i won't be happy. that and guys might stop playing to wait for trade day so they can have a better team for time-travel. maybe we can work it out but somehow i doubt the pain in my ass is worth the unimportant trades that will actually take place.

if we allowed trades we would have to take about a 2 week break for people to catch up before we released the updated rom and then updated the database to match the new rom. there is no way around the back game issue unless you just let guys play back games with the new rom, which would be like allowing time travel.

thanks i'm going to switch everything over to the new look when i have time. eventually i'll be making it so guys can add content to the mainpage, like your article i stole from the messageboard.
by the way anyone wanting to upload a story just send it my way. i won't censor or edit and will put up anything that has to do with the league.

you have to pick a game before you upload, otherwise the server won't know what game you're trying to upload.

the most common emulator is the gens-netplay version which you can get here: http://65.36.133.56/nhl94_draft/gensnetplay.zip
after your game ends, just hit f5 to save the state. then you go to the site, log in, select your game from your schedule of games listed, hit the 'browse' button to browse to the location of your saved state, then finally hit the 'upload' button. wait a few seconds and you should either get a link to the box score or an error message.
are you getting an error or which part are you having trouble with?

i can adjust the uploader to accept the different size too if it would make things easier for people. didn't realize you could add the screen shot.

havent had a chance to look into it fully and i dont have access to my home computer. is the file size different from normal?

trades more than likely will not happen because they will affect back games with the stat uploader. if both teams have no back games then its possible.

bumping this up.
a couple of the guys on top of the list have disappeared. if edmonton doesn't show up by midnight tonight, i will be replacing him. wags seems to be the most active unless one of the guys above him speaks up.

himer's last game played was released on April 13th. so it hasn't been a month, but it's probably time to look at replacing him. if he doesn't show up by tonight, i will replace him.
