is this game just for 2 players

i know im posting alot but i have alot of questions,is this game only for 2 players or can we play like 2 on 2 like back in the day with the 4 player hookup

yes you can play with 4 players, there is an actual ongoing tournament right with myself and a few others included. here's the links check it out:

also every once and awhile a 2on2 summit series tournament comes where players from this forum play Canada vs The USA 2on2 style. Overall its really fun to play since we use a specially made 2on2 rom of the game
