trudatman
I love that quirkiness about this game. with the SNES version, most of the glitchy stuff lends a sense of reality, like if you try just hard enough, you can skate into the crowd and beat a fan with his shoe or get hit behind the boards and knocked down by Lundqvist and stand back up seven times before Henrik moves the puck up the ice. have you made a Ryder save or gone Marchand on a Sedin? you don't have to have proof, but please tell us about that strange play in which three guys got prezteled together for twenty seconds or the wacky game in which Kevin Lowe scored at the buzzer to win the game and the fans threw 4 and D icons onto the ice... these things happen. trudatman
a full screenshot of the fan interaction: [note the puck's shadow on a dude] "able to move further away, but not back toward the edge of the ice. can also travel up and down the side of the arena. was able to pass the puck...." trudatman
another contribution to the weirdness from the archives: [the first image seems to be suffering from a dead link, but it was just the net sprites exiting the box in the sideview (still facing forward, of course). also of note is the continually expired penalty time.] "had the net release as the player leaving the penalty box." "it didn't interfere with the players at all." "it was missing from where it should have been." ...and here is a thing: "not sure why Katie thought to try to save this shot with a big black dildo."
