CamKneely Posted October 26, 2006 Report Share Posted October 26, 2006 After Dallas gave the Jets some trouble earlier in the year, beating them 5-3 and losing a close one on overtime, they got smoked tonight in Winnpeg. The Jets fans wanted blood after the close calls this year and how Dallas squeaked by them in the playoffs last season. They got it, as Selanne led the charge and cut open the Dallas defense, with 4 goals and 2 assists. Zhamnov had a hat trick and two assists. Davydov has 2 goals and 4 assists. The top line romped, and so did Essensa, stifling the Dallas defense until a lucky Modano goal with 59 seconds left. Essensa also had 3 assists.
