angryjay93
Tonight in the Memorial Auditorium the Canadiens took it to the perfect Buffalo Sabers in a 5-3 victory to end the 19 game winning streak which is a new league record. The habs got out to a solid start and were able to hold off a desperate Buffalo team who had created enough chances to win, but thanks to Partick Roy, the Canadiens defense and a little bit of luck , the Habs skated off the victors. "Its a tough pill to swallow knowing that we did play well enough to win, but we just didnt get the right bounces or breaks out there, that stuff happens in a long season," said defenseman Don Sweeney. Hopefully though this loss wont last long in the memory of Sabres players as they have some difficult games upcoming on there schedule. "If we are a good team we will get over this loss and come back the next game ready to play hard, if we let ourselves be affected, then were not as good as that record says, this is our first major test of the season," said manager Juicer Maker.
