mkibble Posted September 15, 2007 Report Share Posted September 15, 2007 When i try to connect, the person joins, i hit start game, and it goes to a black screen. nothing happens. it wont load the game. my friend said his was loading. i have enabled it on my firewall, so i have no clue what the problem is. Evan Posted September 15, 2007 Report Share Posted September 15, 2007 First quick thoughts are: 1 - The ROM isn't in your default ROM directory. 2 - The Gens emulator isn't extracted (don't know if guys play emulator from the .zip file) 3 - You have a different emulator and/or ROM than your opponent. Make sure you guys both download from the homepage of http://nhl94online.com. 4 - One of the players has a saved game file (.srm file) which can't be loaded on the other person's emulator.
