  1. Yirmiahu was kind enough to get things started last year, so a good bit of the work is already done: we don't have to create the league from scratch. However, there's still a lot to do. Counting up through the "Ks" I see at least 40 players that need to be created from scratch. There are also attribute adjustments to make, trades to catch up on...etc. The existing update has some values boosted above 100, with varying results. The speed is nice. With the strongest shooters, shot power over a certain value will have the players shoot backwards (i.e. away from the net, not towards) with full windups and one-timers. (The value rolls over, I suspect). I've started moving players to the correct teams using NHLINFO (again, up through the Ks), but I have no particular talent for rating or creating players, and don't necessarily know lines and defense pairings for teams not from Pittsburgh. So, I am asking for assistance from the community in this regard. Yirmiahu's update has Minnesota and Atlanta inserted as the All-Star teams. This could certainly be changed if people felt strongly about Columbus and Nashville. As the creator of the EDGE jersey update, I'm happy to create, update and move whatever jerseys we need, and even create 3rd jerseys as they are unveiled. I see that at least one person was messing around with the EXE trying to increase the number of teams, but was not successful. This is something else that one of the technical wizards around here could dabble with. Just trying to gauge interest in a project like this.
  2. I see people are still looking for these. Haven't updated them at all, but here's a link. http://rapidshare.com/files/128922914/nhl9...erseys.zip.html
  3. Check your e-mail, yirmiahu. I found some bugs.
  4. For your gaming pleasure...here is a fully updated set of 2007-08 jerseys for NHL 95 PC. This includes ALL Reebok EDGE jerseys for 28 of the 30 teams. It is based on and designed for the forthcoming roster update by yirmiahu. It does not include Nashville and Columbus, as these teams are not part of the roster update. It also includes new in-game logos provided by Johan Emanuelsson. Many thanks to Johan for the logos, and for providing the "NHL 95 Forever" collection to spark this mini-project. A couple of things to keep in mind: - The game (and the editor) can't do vertical stripes on the torso of the jerseys, so some of the new jerseys with apron stripes and the like may look a little bare. - The editor also can't do complex 3 color striping, so I've had to figure out the "dominant" colors in some cases. For example, the orange is mostly missing from Anaheim's jerseys because there's no room for it, but it's almost overwhelming with San Jose's road jersey. Comments, questions, and suggestions for improvement are welcome in this thread. Edit: Tried to update this file today, and it's failing. Not sure why. Here's another link. http://rapidshare.com/files/56429839/nhl95...erseys.zip.html
  5. Johan's got you covered. I've imported his new logos, including the skating Penguin, into my jerseys. I'm just waiting for the last few jerseys to be released or leaked. I don't think there will be any more drastic changes with who's left. By the way, are you replacing All-Stars West with Minnesota and All-Stars East with Atlanta? I assumed that was the case, but I want to make sure, so I can have the jerseys in the right place. I'm a Pens fan as well.
  6. Thank you very much for those. I've got them all imported, and they look nice in the game. The only changes I've made so far are to Edmonton (made the oil drop copper colored) and Pittsburgh (made the yellow into "Las Vegas Gold"). The original logos from EA were cartoonish in nature compared to yours, so I didn't mix and match. I updated my attachment above.
  7. Sure, I'd appreciate the help. Here's my very latest update. (Attached). There are more than a few "psychedelic logos" because the palette colors have been changed. If you (or someone) have a quick fix for that, then go for it. EDIT: Updated in its own separate thread.
  8. I'm in the middle of a project to update all jerseys in NHL 95 PC. I have the majority of jerseys updated to their Reebok equivalent, or at least the most recent update until the Reebok equivalent is available. I'm still fine tuning and adding and subtracting stripes to see what works. Anyhoo, I'm in need of a list of either hex or RGB values for each team's official colors. This is most helpful for the jerseys I'm having to create from scratch (Atlanta, Minnesota, Buffalo), but will still be useful for most of the others to make them look right. Incidentally, the old Hartford jerseys really make a great Reebok Vancouver jersey. Thanks much.
  9. How about if I make some more progress on the jerseys before I send them? If I can get them done this weekend, so much the better. I'll add Minnesota and Atlanta to the list. Colorado and New Jersey just got scratched off my list since they're reportedly not changing anything. Still waiting on Edmonton, Dallas, St Louis, Toronto, Phoenix, and Anaheim. I need to do something about the striping on Washington, since the game can't put the vertical stripes on only one side, and what I've got looks kind of awkward. I'm either going to make it a midline shoulder stripe, or eliminate it from the shoulders and leave it on the sleeves. I also have to fix the socks and striping on various teams. I'll keep you posted. EDIT: Check your PMs. Only a few left.
  10. Here's a head start for you. I've made these changes: - Home jerseys are now dark, road jerseys are now white. - Detroit, Montreal, the Rangers, and (I'm guessing) Chicago are unchanged, since the tiny new Reebok details can't be shown. - I've updated Boston, Buffalo, Carolina, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay, Washington, Calgary, the Islanders, Ottawa and Florida with their new jersey designs. I've never been able to get the skating penguin right, so they have the 90's logo for now. The other ones I've tweaked here and there, but if you can find a way to improve them, go for it. - I've done Vancouver, but I don't think that the color is correct. (Incidentally, I took the old Hartford jerseys as a template. The more things change...) - I vaguely remember seeing Dallas's new design somewhere, but I don't have a good picture, so that's a work in progress. - Yet to be done: Edmonton, LA, New Jersey, Colorado, San Jose, St. Louis's home jersey (and whatever updates they make), Toronto, Phoenix, Anaheim, and the latest All-Star jerseys. Other than Los Angeles, all of these haven't been released or leaked yet, as far as I know. Again, whatever changes you (or anyone else) would like to make to these, be my guest. I don't know what to do with "importing pcx logos", so that needs work too. EDIT: I'm removing these attachments because they are out of date. My most recent work in progress is later in the thread.
  11. Thanks very much for attempting this! Speaking of old editors, there's one in there that supposedly lets you update the stats automatically. ("stats.zip"). There's no documentation, but from what I can gather it takes the text lists of stats, searches for players whose names match, and updates them accordingly. Might save you some time. I'll see what I can do with JED for some of the updated jerseys.
