Im sure someone here can find the proof that each Gens player doesnt get the 'same' experience.
Until then matt, I think youre just trying to find excuses to make you 'think' Gens plays better online then Kega. I do realize that some players get a smoother experience then others, depending on location.

By chatting with my fellow coaches about how choppy my game was and being replied with "It was smooth for me", on various occasions.

Gens obviously doesnt work for me. matt, youre still avoiding the fact that Gens favours one side of the connection, giving an advantage to the smoother side.

Kega doesnt favour one side of the connection for one. To this point I havent had a game dsynch on me after the start of a game.
matt, your hamachi theory is wrong because I played both Ensuing and kgman with it and Gens P2P and still got dsynched.

If anyone here thinks Kega dsynches alot, its usually either because of both players going Full Screen at the same time OR the latency isnt set correctly.

For the second time in a week, Ive had a game dsynch on me when using Gens P2P and not have the same score as my opponent. I didnt want to fight with kg, so I gave him the game 3-2, but mine showed 3-3.
I refuse to use Gens anymore, so if you cant use Kega, I will forfeit my games for the rest of the season and playoffs. I will also not be back for GDL6, if Gens is used since Im having too many problems with it.
If someone wants to make a league where Kega is mandatory I will join it, until then goodbye.
Note: kg, when I saved it was 3-3 on my screen so I cant upload the game 3-2, so we will have to replay it.

We played on Gens P2P and I warned him that I was having dsynch problems with that, but he still insisted we try and play.
At some point in the 2nd we dsynched, but I didnt notice for sure until early in the 3rd. I paused it and asked for the score, he said it was 4-1, but no less then 3-1. I had 2-1 on my screen, so I took a save state at that point and a screenshot.
Please, whoever can look over this stuff please make a verdict. I hope LA send his save state in too.
My screen shot had the File bar in the way, but the save state will tell all. I cant upload the save state, so someone will have to get it from me.
I think smozoma knows how to compare save states, so I would suggest getting him to look at it.

We definetly didnt play sebe's home games and what I meant by 'Im done', was for the evening. sebe should of knew that we had two more games because we discussed this before even playing my first 3 home games.

Im 100% sure we didnt play those games because Sunday night we played my 3 home games and then I wanted to watch some TV, the rest of the night. On Monday alot of personal stuff came up and I had no time for games.
So sebe did upload these games without my permission. Ice, we didnt play these games before.

Not sure this matters based on seedings, but I dont recall playing sebe's home games against him.

My opinion is, if you want a weight bug fixed draft league... Go play Blitz. GDL should not change IMO because it would effect the history of the stats through Seasons 1 and 5.
Again, if you want a weight bug fixed league go play Blitz... Im sure smozoma wouldnt mind getting some more coaches and a solid base.

The trick with Kega Full Screen is NOT to hit Esc at the EXACT same time. Then you shouldnt get any disconnections, but the bright side is you know right away if you did or not.

Maybe minddefect can solve this problem for me, but Im having issues trying to host with hamachi. I try and Ping the person trying to connect to me and it says 'Request Timed Out'.
Hoping you have an idea how to solve this.
Edit: It shouldnt matter if you cant ping a person, but make sure when your hosting to click Create button.

From what i can tell, its rather obvious the game is 6-1, its indisputable, the evidence clearly depicts that fact.
Obviously, there are two other guys in charge aside from me, but this is my feeling about the situation and if donch and ice disagree, then we can go with what they decide.
But i say the game ends 7-1, there is no playing out of the 3rd period, wags behavior was way out of line and to avoid further problems cropping up, id rather we just avoid playing that last period since the game was easily in hand.

After watching the video, its obvious no desynching took place until the start of the 3rd. So swos did have a 6-1 lead after two.
Now, what does this say about Wags claiming he was up 10-0(Im sure he was joking), is obviously not true. I think the only solution here is for you guys to play one more period and Game Stitch it.
If an agreement cant be made, I think a 6-1 win after two periods for swos should be posted.

I dissagree with you scribb, as alot of the 'spikyness' can depend on your location and ISP. Sometimes you cant change the connection with your ISP unless you spend more money monthy to fix it.
Just to be safe, go Medium Bandwith and there shouldnt be a problem.

In short
1) set Bandwidth to High (we're not on 28.8k fax modems anymore!)
DONT set the Bandwidth to High because it can cause dsynchs and less stability. Go with the safe bet, Medium.

Just played hokkee and it was smooth. Key is setting the latency correctly.

After doing some more testing today Im pleased to say that we wont need to change the databases in GDL and Blitz to use this Emulator. It works the same way Gens does.
Also, if you dont like the Default blurry screen, you can make it look more like Gens by changing Video setting 'Filtered' off.

I think you are getting defensive when you say its a weak assertion AND subjective, when MANY people have had the same experience and Im pretty sure they know the difference between smooth and choppy. Dont assume people dont know the difference.
I never said Kega is perfect, just a much better Emulator when playing online
