I like Hogue... but I'm really only in the market for improving my goaltending. I don't think I'm interested in getting Burke....
If you can organize a 3 way, I do have Housley and Patrick.
If anyone else wants to trade a Forward or D-man for a goalie, let me know.

It depends on the coach...
if you don't use manual goalie much, Belfour is a solid pick.
In the draft, there is the most depth at the forward position, so picking top goalies and D-men should pan out well.

It stinks when all the obvious superstars go, but it helps you think about building an all-around good team, not a lopsided team.

I saw this video once right before joining an in-house icehockey league. It was worse than watching an entire season of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. Thank God for neck guards.

Wow, did you just ask hokkee to do some actual work? I guess you are not familiar enough with his posting:
4am, east coast time: Drink, smoke a cig, drink some more
5am, east coast time: Get angry about small imperfections in upstart leagues.
6am, east coast time: write long, incoherent posts with little to no punctuation letting people know what needs to be done... yet never taking the initiative to do the work itself
hours later.....
12pm, east coast time: realizes he was blitzed, takes back most of what he says.
I love hokkee's posts... but I see he was posting at a decent West Coast hour. Maybe he would be interested in doing this???!!!!???? All you need is Microsoft Excel skills and an idea of what objective stats should go forth into making a poll.
I could do this if someone would let me know what stats go into it, as I am not familiar with polls. That is... if people are interested in a ranking system; it might not mesh well with some of the interests of this community.

I would bet both of my kidneys that hokkee comes back.
Despite his claims, I don't think the wait is doing anything detrimental... nor do I think the mass of new members are people with new names (is the reason you suggest this because you are one of these people?)
Evan and Jacob are doing a great job, and everyone still has the ability to play games online without this site.
Maybe you can start your own league hokkee, since you have a lot of your own visions. I would sign up.

What seemed different to me was the skating and passing... it didn't feel the same. It's not to say it was better or worse, but it felt different. Perhaps this is an illusion I created in my head because of the differing sound effects.
The instant manual goaltending is huge. I wish the Gens version had it.

I tried the SNES version out about a year ago... to me, it felt like something was missing... like it was incomplete... like I was kissing my sister.
Maybe I was just too used to the mechanics of the Genesis version at the time and didn't give it a shot, but I am wondering how other people who make the switch over feel.
P.S. How do SNES purists feel about the Genesis version? Do you have barely-witty but insulting comments to combat?
P.S.S. I do not have a sister, so I cannot confirm the feeling I had.

I will be out from this Friday until April 1st. So..... if stuff happens and I'm not here to do anything about, don't freak out and ban me from the community
