  1. 1. Game is littlebit clumsy --> what can do make it run better? B)

Are you using Dosbox? If so, then try Ctrl+F11 and Ctrl+F12.

    3. And last thing for now. I have some editfiles on my computer, how can I register those into my game? ( example nhl95adds, nhl95jersey and nhl95rink ) Is it just that simple that I zip those files with winrar and then remove in to c:\NHL95 folder or do I need to activate them somehow?

Just put those files in NHL95 folder. Remember take backups from NHL95 folder first.

And for the future I'm interested to do some editing player rosters, so if somebody have a good guidebook of doing it.

Toni Wilen's NHLinfo is a good editor. http://forum.nhl94.com/index.php?s=&sh...ost&p=13467

There is good readme-file with it, but I don't think anyone have written complete guide to it. Maybe because there is no need (NHLinfo is quite easy to use). :)

  2. In Dosbox, I get this error:

    "error getting disk space free"

For some reason I have to mount my drive C: in dosbox. Otherwise if I try to start NHL95 from D: drive, I get also that "error getting disk space free"-error.

  3. In the NHL Forever .zip file there are several roster updates up to 98 or so, I believe.

Of course there is, but DjDiabolik was asking rosters to "2006-2007 Original Nhl". There is no season 06-07 rosters in this Foerever.zip.

  4. Has anyone successfully used the nhl9395 editor to change the name of a team? I did this, but then when I started a league and went to look at that team's stats through the standings page the game freezes. I also couldn't edit that team's lines in the game. I changed it back to what it was originally and I was able to look at the stats. Does it have to have the same number of characters or something?

Has anyone else encountered this problem or been able to change a team name?

This is possible when you are using Toni Wilen's NHLinfo. You can change team names and stats without problems.

  5. I can upgrade my Roster with 2006-2007 Original Nhl ???

Well, if someone already have done those rosters then it is possible. I don't know if anyone have done this? If you mean conversion for example from EA's NHL 2006-2007 game, that is not possible straight away. Anyways, you can use NHLInfo-editor and type those rosters by yourself, but it will take some time and you will also notice that attributes of players are not the same in newer games and NHL95PC.

  6. Hello,

I have a original NHL 95 MS-DOS CDROM from back in the day.

I tried my darnest but kept getting errors trying to install it.

Can someone please help me to figure out what to do?

I would like to be able to install it on both Windows 2000 Pro and Windows XP as well.

What errors do you get during installation?

    Have you tried Dosbox?

  7. When I was a kid NHL95 was the game, becouse I (and about all of my friendds) played hockey my self also (as a poorly talented keeper :) ). We had maniac competitions with my brothers over this game (and som... well a few.... ok ok we had tons of fights about this) and I still hold the record for scoring most times in one season with same player (Saku Koivu: 200 goals 15 assists), but my brother ultimatly beated me in playoff challense.

One thing, Saku Koivu is not in original rosters in NHL95PC. Maybe you were using different rosters ;)
