The FHL (Federal Hockey League) was founded in 2010. It's not the most stable professional league, but It's still professional. The four teams this year are: The Danbury Whalers, the Dayton Demonz, the Danville Dashers, and the Watertown Privateers.
In this game, eliminated the star and just left the number as a way to tell who players are, similar to Ninety Flow. I also updated the rosters, jerseys, and banners. Obviously with only 4 teams in the league, I can't make a usable playoff bracket. Enjoy and let me know if you have any suggestions. THANKS!

I LOVE your game. Could I use it as a base for a game of mine for another league?

EDIT: In the video...
66 goals scored
66 scored record tying goal
66 assisted record breaking goal, his 33rd assist. 33 + 33 = 66
66 scored first goal of the game
66 scored last goal of the game
66 last goal was his 6th, with 6 seconds left. 6 + 6 = 66
66 was the star of the game
This is like the freaking Illuminati up in here!

My friend and I were trying to play an online game of nhl 2002 and could not figure out how to do it over wifi. Please help!

Replace the All Stars teams with users from this site.
Now THAT is a game I would play!

cool. which ROM did you using as a starting point? got a file to share?
Original nhl 94 snes. It was that NAHL game that I never had the time to finish.

I don't think the issue with a lack of indicator is the game being too challenging... I think the issue is, it doesn't make sense.
It's like making the puck the same colour as the ice. You, in theory, can have a good idea of where the puck is at all times, but it's unusual, and without any justification as to why it should be the same colour.
Especially when playing multiplayer. I only ever play 4 players.
This is feedback. Do whatever you want with your rom. Just understand not everyone's going to find an adjustment like this to be favourable.
Just remember. It's your rom. Do whatever you want with it. But when you put it in a public setting, it's subject to criticism. This isn't your forum.
That is exactly why I made my own rom with the number being the player indicator. So you could tell who the player was and who you were playing as. I took off the indicators and just left the numbers.... It's not that hard and something you could do in TLP in like 5 minutes.

Does anyone know how to eliminate the center ice logos for SNES? I tried to find a thread on here for it, but I couldn't. If any of you snes people know how, can you please share?

well the team numbers change each year, and i didn't create my formula just yet. this was the first version of just the north division. this rom should be complete in the next few weeks. There are 24 teams that will be available and i'll throw in a few all star teams and i'll even put an alumni team in of players that made it to the nhl.

It's up. It went on as a .smc file. Thanks for everything!

you are quite welcome. good luck with your project. I'd be glad to help if/how/when I can. please share your progress!
I should be done in about 2 weeks. It's the process of finding rosters with numbers.

Thank you that was a huge help. I'm working on an NAHL (junior a hockey) snes rom, and i liked your ideas of the player indicators as circles.

I'm not sure how to use these at all. I could live without it, but it would help if someone could point me in the right direction of a tutorial. I'm trying to edit the player indicators

The game is great, and I appreciate the effort and talent that went into it. I just wanted to let you know of a little problem. The game kept flashing in and out,and also Fleury's number wasn't changed to 29. Other than that, the game is awesome.
