The Real NHL '94 (1993-94 trade deadline rosters, created 2009, updated 2019). This rom is based on the actual 1993-94 season, while the original rosters were roughly based on the rosters from the 92-93 season, with a pretty much fictional Florida Panters and a very inaccurate San Jose Sharks. I've based my stats mainly from EA's NHL '95 with a mix of my own. I calculated stats based on players performances from the 94 season. You could consider this a roster update. I mainly made it for my own personal use, but when I was gonna put the "Ice Hockey" rom hack I decided to finish up this one as well. -Reworked rosters, jerseys (almost all jerseys has been at least a …

This version of the ROM should work in RetroArch (along with ZSNES). EDIT: Download this new one, I fixed the checksum. NHL94-2on2-xstioph-fix2.smc

So I was bored and made this ROM in January. Finally decided to post it. Since I am a HUGE fan of the St. Cloud State University Huskies, I wanted to make this ROM. The SCSU Huskies just clinched at least a tie for conference title. I took some of the top teams from all the different college conferences. These conferences are the AHA, CCHA, ECAC, HE, and WCHA. The teams and rosters were based on January standings, rankings and current team point leaders. Things have changed since then but I will admit I am too lazy to make an update right now, lol. I tried to make jerseys as accurate as I could. All players jersey numbers and shooting hand is as accurate as I could find.…

I am going to try to sort out some of my old creations and upload them in one place. Some I might have uploaded before but some I haven’t like this one. ROM Description: A new – (very old) SNES rom hack – The NHL 89-90 season with full sprite uniform/jersey hack. This uses the Smoz SNES 64 team ROM and is of the 89-90 season (which I think I copied from my Gens 93 version from memory). Created in 2010 (although I probably finished it in early 2011). I think I had planned to create a patch but there was zero interest in it at the time so never got around to it. Straight after creating it I disappeared for an extended period…

After working on it the past few weeks I'm finally releasing an NHL 26 ROM (which is an updated version of my previous NHL 25 ROM). Some notes about the ROM: 28-team ROM replacing Campbell and Wales All Star teams with Minnesota Wild and Vegas Golden Knights Quebec becomes Colorado while Hartford becomes Carolina Columbus, Nashville, and Seattle, and Utah are all excluded as they were further down the standings. I hope to rotate the two All Star teams with the best of this bunch(including MIN/VGK) Jerseys have been updated to match their current home/away colors Rosters are current through 10/30/25. I may have missed some add/drops but…

With the anticipated return of NHL players in the 2026 Olympics I thought I'd create a ROM for the occasion. Some notes on the ROM: Used EA Sports' NHL 26 as a base for NHL players attributes. For teams like France and Italy I had to 'fill in the blanks' for a lot of players who have little to no NHL experience. Used PuckPedia.com, for the most part, for projected depth chart/lines Made the following changes to existing teams: NYR-->CAN OTW-->CZE PHI-->DEN PIT-->FIN QUE-->FRA SJ-->GER STL-->ITA TB-->LAT TOR-->SLO …

Hey Everyone, I decided to make a World Cup '96 ROM containing the 8 teams who played(CAN, CZE, FIN, GER, RUS, SLO, SWE, and USA). These teams replace STL through ASW but the jerseys and banner colors are updated. The attributes for NHL players come straight from NHL 97. All others I used my best judgement based on WC statistics. I didn't bother to check for non-NHL player weights, #'s, or handedness. Those guys are mostly bench players anyways. I included Pavel Bure on RUS who was injured for the real-life tournament. Even though goalies don't matter in SNES I included Hasek on CZE who declined to play. I implemented @McMarkis goalie pull hack(press L+R buttons…

After working on it the past few weeks/months I'm finally releasing an NHL 25 ROM (which is an updated version of my previous NHL 24 ROM). I've created a custom ROM for the upcoming NHL Four Nations mid-season tournament. I used my World Cup 96 ROM as a template but the only four teams updated are Canada, Finland, Sweden, and USA. Ignore all other teams. These four teams replace WPG through ASW but the jerseys and banner colors are updated. The attributes for NHL players come straight from my NHL 25 ROM. I used the official finalized rosters as of last night (2/10). This means some guys were excluded due to injuries (i.e. Heiskanen, Pietrangelo, Quinn Hughes, etc.). Lines were used based on projections from NHL.com. Just like WC 96 I implemented the following @McMarkis hacks: Goalie pull ha…

This is a roster hack where I've placed the best early 90's NHL players in their most fondly remembered early 90's teams. I've mostly based the rosters on the '92 to '96 era. The golden age of NHL games on the SNES. It isn't a perfect science but every player is on only one team, no duplicates, and 100% of players have their proper jersey numbers, with no duplicates there either. Every player rating has been meticulously arranged to reflect player abilities as I remember them. The accuracy is remarkable, folks. Hextall on the Flyers, Nedved on the Canucks, Gartner on the Capitals, LeClair on the Flyers, Amonte on the Blackhawks, Kariya on the Ducks, you get the …

I've been tinkering with a World Cup of Hockey type of rom, but using only players that are in the base 94 game. So no created players and no modified stats, all players are pulled straight from 94. I was able to produce a beta WC rom a few years ago, with 4F, 3D, and 1G, but now I've been able to refine and expand on the Beta. The beta WC rom has poor jersey shading, and some big names were omitted. Thanks to @kidswasted @McMarkis for pointing me in the right direction with the roms and tools. 8 National/Regional teams. It's not possible to make up 8 different teams from 8 different nations, so some creative license. Russia (NYR), USA (CHI), Scand…

I'm excited to release an updated ROM for SNES with current rosters as we haven't had one in a few years now. I've been working on it the last month or so. Some notes about the ROM: 28-team ROM replacing Campbell and Wales All Star teams with Nashville Predators and Vegas Golden Knights Quebec becomes Colorado while Hartford becomes Carolina Arizona(Utah), Columbus, Minnesota, and Seattle are all excluded as they were further down the standings. I am proud to introduce to you the 2008 SNES International ROM! This ROM features the top 28 international hockey teams, from Austria to the USA, and: * all non-fictional players * fully redone home and away jerseys * fully redone banners and text * new playoff seeding * in the international spirit, no center-ice logos for any team This is a JUICED BETA version of the ROM. I will be making an unjuiced beta of the ROM and putting it out shortly as well so that there is indeed a difference between Canada and the Netherlands. Things that still need to be done include setting lines, so please provide your insight! I can change rosters as well if I glaringly missed som…

Really this came about out of boredome. Wanting to do something creative, i decided to do an NHL 94 roster edit and settled on the year 1996/1997. Along with editing the roster, i also edited the jerseys to reflect the 96/97 NHL season. Line combination's have also been done. Other points of reference - All 26 NHL Teams have seen complete roster updates, plus the Western and Eastern conference All Star teams. - I have no idea how to go about changing player portraits. Some players may have corresponding portraits, others will not. Others will simply have a generic portrait. Sorry about this. - This hack is to reflect rosters post trade deadline 96/97. - Handiness …

Yo, here is my new 2011 playoffs snes rom. I did all my own meticulous custom ratings and put in 2 special teams. I removed Florida and put in the Africa All stars team (complete with a skin pigment change for the players). I also removed Atlanta and put in a KHL all stars team using the stats from the KHL website. I have wasted far too much time tweaking this game. its time to finally release it. I will obviously be getting a custom cartridge of this game made as well. I'm planning on using an image of burning police cars during the vancouver riot as the cover. Enjoy!

Hey everyone, Just wanted to share this quick project I whipped up with the TSB3 editor. I went ahead and renamed all of the draft picks who were missing their real names. Nothing fancy just straight to the point. I appreciate your interest in advance and hope you enjoy this. Thank You Tecmo Super Bowl III - Final Edition Renamed Rookies by LupDiggah.smc

I've been thinking of new ideas for ROMs and decided to make a 'Pond Hockey' aka 3v3 ROM where 3 skaters(regardless of F/D position) make up the LW-C-RW positions. I've gone ahead and edited the lines for every team. Some have all forwards on the 'Best'(no line changes) line while some have 2 forwards and a D man. I also made it so any player(F/D) is eligible to play a forward position via Edit Lines. Because there are technically no defensemen, D-control does not work. I feel this adds to the fun on getting back to play defense. Attached are the 'Best' lines I've set up. I'm looking to eventually run a league using this ROM sometime towards the end of the upcoming S…

Today is the day I have been waiting for since last Summer. The All-Time Greatest Players ROM is finally being released! Some notes about the ROM: 28-team ROM replacing Campbell and Wales All-Star teams with Original Six and Expansion All-Time All-Star teams. I used the 70s Orange/White/Black All-Star jerseys for the Original Six and the 95-96(Purple/Black and Teal/white) All-Star jerseys for the Expansion jerseys. Used different team/same franchise jerseys including DAL/MIN, QUE/COL, HFD/CAR, WPG/PHX Home jerseys are light jerseys, regardless if it was ever their home or away jersey Included some fan favorites over others(i.e. Terry O'Reill…

Hey everyone. I made an update of NHL '04 for this season (using swos's and mahavishnu's updated rom as a backbone). Essentially, this is an SNES port of their game with some modifications. I used statto's SNES NHL '94 editor to edit the rom, and tested the roms with ZSNES. I hope you enjoy! Features * Three different roms included "am" features Atlanta and Minnesota at ASW and ASE spots "amALT" is the am rom with the alternate uniforms worn this year "cn" features Columbus and Nashville at ASW and ASE spots * 28 of the 30 NHL teams in each rom, selectable both in regular season and playoffs Relocated teams are located at the position where their old locati…

Hey everyone, I found some messages asking for an updated SNES rom. I put it on that forum, but I figured I would make my own topic so that more people could find it Features *28 teams (Carolina, Columbus out) *End-of-season rosters for non-playoff teams *Lines based on 12-foward/6-defense *Playoff rosters (updated as of the end of conference semifinal round) *Playoff brackets (plus non-playoff "consolation round", seedings based on overall wins/points regardless of conference) *Alternate jerseys (not all, but most of the non-playoff teams, LA, and PHI away) *Updated Advantages (not perfect, but I find it to work out pretty well *initial rosters/lines courtesy o…

Hey guys, I've taken a brief sojourn away from the boards, but I am back to release my new updated NHL '94 ROM for the 2011-2012 season. Take a gander at some of the features: * 28 teams w/players from the Opening Day roster (no Columbus or Ottawa -- sorry -- and Winnipeg is back in its old slot!) * Completely overhauled the ratings, primarily using stats from last year. I put a lot of work into creating formulas for translating stats into ratings, making sure to emulate the balance of the original ROM. * Updated advantages, portrait palettes, uniforms * Utilization of pass/shot bias -- thanks to trudatman for the find. * Playoff brackets from last year * Line com…

I've always wished I could play the whole EA hockey series from 92-00 with the feel of NHL 94 so I made this project for everyone to enjoy. Sadly, season mode, trades, or create-a-player features that appeared in later games are not present. However, I've compiled the rosters from the various games and made a SNES ROM for each year. ROM Notes: Extracted rosters from NHLPA 93 - NHL 98 from Genesis(manually transcribed NHL Hockey (92) rosters by matching the jersey numbers in the ROM with players for that season and team using Hockey-Reference.com) and NHL 99 and 2000 from PC. Some games had a 0-15 attribute scale so I converted to 0-6 to match 94 Pla…

Admiral and Medvescak have been added in ASE/ASW (for ease of updating). Rosters are based on ~15 games in (today) with players who have played the most games (notable exception is Ilya Kovalchuck, who has been injured but belongs in the game). I really need to figure out how to do logos in this rom! khl14juiced.smc
