I took some time to recreate the Classic ROM using the 30 team template. Essentially this ROM can act as a repository for ALL graphics, colours, players, team advantages. team and players as per the classic ROM. Graphics and palettes for the 3 splash screens, team logos jerseys and banners are all in line with the original game. Two additional teams Vegas and Seattle are in the ROM after the two all star teams just to fill in the spots. Using this ROM and tools created by others for extracting stats, images and palettes anyone can now extract everything classic they want to replicate in custom leagues. The ROM in this post is just that: the original NHL'94 game, with fighting added in. Recent breakthroughs developed the necessity to Revisit this one, but then the question was what to call it. It's not an update since the original 30-team game was abandoned in favour of a ground up Rebuild with 32 teams. So what "Re" word applies here? Remake? Remaster" Redux? Rewind? Nah. It is now possible (!!!FINALLY!!!) to insert the NHLPA 93 Intro, Matchup and Menu music into NHL 94 and have the sounds loop. @swos discovered how to insert the music 16 years ago, but multiple attempts at looping the music in the past have resulted in the game crashing. However, after spending some time searching for patterns in hex editor (and lots of testing), the proper byte values and their locations were finally discovered. Now updated. We're going with tournament MVP Connor McDavid for the cover on this one. Now that the arena is complete, that called for new @Drezz backgrounds. Couldn't decide on what I liked more, so the Wide and Standard versions get their own image. The ice dimensions haven't changed, but livery has been updated for the new locations. I created a ROM based on players from the earliest seasons I can remember, 82-83 and 83-84. Attaching an Excel sheet that explains the ROM and why I created it in the way I did. nhl 95 is actually my new favorite nhl game. it used to be nhl 96/97 but after a lot of playing lately i do prefer nhl 95 now. i know there is already an olympic hockey rom made from nhl 94 but like i said, i personally prefer nhl 95, so if someone have the skill, time and offcource the will to create a rom with as many playable countries as possible in an olympic 2026 game that would be so cool and much appreciated by me 🤩

All 23 teams are presented, each team have 2 to 4 goalkeapers, 14 forward skaters and 8 defenders. Rosters are set as at the end of regular season. Hey Everyone. Ive been discussing with a few of the users on the site, specifically @SirPurr3 regarding updated TSB3 for Genesis. Since, there isnt an editor for SEGA, I've found a loop whole to edit the rosters through the NES/SNES editor. To do so, Ive created this step by step editing process to allow you do so yourself. Here it is! Completely revamped and powered up, my All Time Legends roster hack! I'll try and re-explain and summarize what this hack is about I wanted to keep it as Vanilla 95 as far as the aesthetics as possible, other than splash/intro screens and some of the team banners/logos (Special Thanks to von Ozbourne for helping with that stuff!)
